He took his eye off the prize. He messed up whenever he went to the middle of Bama’s field and claimed Bryant Denny to be our house. You want to act like a hardass and think you can beat the greatest head coach of all time, then you better act like him. Saban never takes his eye off the prize and do dumb shite like O has. Can you identify the transfer portal experienced quarterbacks who would have been lining up to come to LSU knowing they would very likely be a backup to Brennan? At best they would have gotten someone similar to the QBs who transferred from LSU the last few years, - Jennings. McMillan, Harris, etc.

Over analyzing. Many LSU players view playing here as a stepping stone to the NFL. We are bottom tier SEC and many have lost faith in their coaches.

O has done a lot of things wrong but this is not one of them. He said this in a private moment with the team and a player leaked the video. That’s not ok Coach O. Coaches know when a media camera is on them and they keep it as PR as possible but Coaches say things like that all the time to the team when it’s just them and the team.

He needs to have the foresight to realize that it’s a possibility and not allow the pic. His mentality wouldn’t let him stop her and that is the same reason his program is where it’s at now. Self preservation. He didn’t listen to his own advice in one of the interviews after the championship, “we gonna get back to work”.

Really don't think it was lightning in a bottle. And Joe as great as he is, wasn't good until his 2ns season at LSU. And didn't do ANYTHING at Ohio State.
