The dude only orchestrated the greatest LSU football team in the school’s history yet he’s relegated to being called a moron and having his football intelligence compared to that of an average ranter.

What? You want even give Ed O any credit for that? Even at the same time that Ed O won an SEC title and a Natty with a perfect 15 & 0 season, which, by the way, is the best season in LSU history, with the greatest college football team EVER in history, while at the same time he also reeled in a $55 million dollar bonanza for his university as well. How about giving him credit for that?
How about some credit for going 13 & 5 against AP top-10 opponents? The best record in the NCAA by a mile.
What about giving Ed O credit for finishing in the top-five in national recruiting for the past three years in a row. Not to mention that he is also currently ranked number one in the SEC for 2022.
By the way, Ed O also recruited and over saw the development of those 20 LSU football players that got NFL contracts following the 2019 National Championship season. Will you at least give him credit for that great accomplishment?
I mean, if the administration had listen to all you Ed O haters, and hired Tom Herman instead, LSU would be wallowing away in mediocrity today like Texas has been wallowing away in mediocrity for way over 10 years. Some of you people not only hate Ed O and LSU with a passion, but you also very obviously hate yourselves and want everyone to be just as miserable as you are.
Obviously, the 2019 season must have been extremely hard for your psyche. It's a wonder you didn't blow your brains out.

Lol I was an LSU fan when he was running with his tail between his legs back to his mommy after a week on campus, when he had a head full of coke and was beating on women, and when he was a laughing stock getting his arse stomped in Oxford talking up Brent Schaeffer. Look, I'm fully behind Orgeron, but his head coaching resume doesn't have much meat on the bone without Burrow behind center.
Before 2019, he talked a lot about what Pete Carroll used to do at USC, or what happened while he was at Miami. Now that he has his own national championship, he's tends to keep bringing up what was successful that season.
I get why fans want to hear more about the present and the future instead of the past. He even admitted at Media Days that he doesn't expect to see another Joe, so just trying to replicate 2019 isn't a stable philosophy.
