This is what you get when the head coach is totally dependent upon coordinators on BOTH sides of the ball.
Presuming the coach is highly skilled at hiring assistants, this model can work. Unfortunately, Orgeron has missed more than not.

Actually, the Joe Brady offense is the Sean Payton offense. As Joe Brady more or less swiped the Sean Payton playbook and brought it with him to LSU as a condition of employment.

Why do we always allow our football program to be run by people who are going to take advantage of us? Why can’t we get a head coach that actually knows what the hell he is doing.

It’s a slap in the face to Peetz. He could simply say “I want to get back to some of the concepts we ran in 2019” and leave it at that. He’s sounds dumb repeating the “Joe Brady offense” line over and over.

It's because O knows about as much as the average poster on this board about football schematics. He has no what Joe Brady ran so he has to call it the Joe Brady offense...I can just see him interviewing people and asking him if he can call the same plays Brady did in 2019 and Peetz being like yeah, sure and O telling him he got the job. The dude is a complete waste of space as a coach. He's a dumb mascot we should trot out to punch himself in the face before games since Mike won't ride around the stadium anymore.
