How do you know this?

My guess is he put 8 million of that 16 in the bank. How much of that eight has he blown through in the last four years?
And “20 law firms”? I don’t think they’re working pro bono. I don’t blame him for appealing because that ruling where he has to hand her a full chunk of eight million likely means that Orgeron is broke.
It’s weird to me that people are okay saying this kind of stuff just because you don’t like the way his time here ended
It’s borderline fascinating to me. You don’t like someone, so in your mind it’s okay to just make stuff up and go with it

Just dropping in to remind everyone that in terms of 15-0 seasons:
Orgeron: 1
Saban: 0
Orgeron: 1
Saban: 0

Weren’t his grown sons on the coaching staff around 2019?

8 million seems a little high to me but there used to be a lot of Tulane grads on the Court

The conduct of either spouse has little to do with how they share community property. If the money was earned during the marriage, she gets half. She could have been the drunk and belligerent one, the result would be the same. And I have no knowledge or opinion on what spouse behaved poorly.
I agree with whoever wrote that the odds of getting a 5-2 decision overturned are very slight. I doubt they are presenting any new argument not argued at the hearing.
Adding 20 law firms doesnt bolster the argument.

They were separated when the buyout occurred?

He earned that buyout while married though
The buyout is the remainder of the contract and hadn’t yet been earned obviously.

If they can provide proof with previous cases that were similar and judgements different then the Supreme Court will reopen it. Won’t be easy. His attorneys are licking their chops in billable hours.

Why not? They were legally married when he signed his extension.

Where did I “make anything up” in that post you responded to? Go ahead. I’ll wait until you get specific.
Asking legitimate questions with plausible suppositions is not “making things up.” Goddamn, you’re dumb. But this is the Rant and dumbasses like you inhabit it.

Is it your understanding that a spouse is entitled to half of everything earned even after a marriage ends?
Do you believe that spouse is entitled to half of money earned after divorce because a contract is signed during marriage?
Posted on 7/11/25 at 9:02 pm to Major Dutch Schaefer
Don’t get divorced…
