Well that's a dumb sentiment. Every person on this site, even the people who like Danny know that he is a limited QB.

The point of his post wasn't that O made these RBs play WAY above there heads or anything. The point was that he allowed these guys to reach their potential in games.

Like I said, if having a RB go for 250+ in a game was so easy, why didn't it happen even once during CLM's 11 years? CLM had LF7 in 2015 when he was a run away train destroying folks and never got him over 233.

Why does he deserve credit for that? There really is no coaching involved in the running game in football

So if the running backs avg 1 yd per carry and fumble multiple times per game causing us to lose every game, O doesn't get blamed for those losses correct?

Getting credit for it?

Explain to me what he did in these games to earn that credit other than be the interim HC?

Did he run the scheme?
Did he hire the guy who ran the scheme (one, they were still running Cam's scheme snd plays)
Did he hire the guy that coached up those players, or even coach those players himself on OL, WR (down field and edge blocking), or RB?
Did he recruit any of those players?

No O was just the temp head man of somebody else's team that ran vs super terrible run defenses. Fournette literally had 3 chances in 2015, where he could have eclisped 300 yards rushing, but left the game, or got a super long run called back.

Outside of this year's rushing performance, I don't give him credit for a talented RB and OL blocking, he had no part in developing or recruiting. This year he did hire Canada, he did help in choosing who played on OL, so he does deserve a sliver of credit.

Even if you say he deserves any credit for last year running the ball like that, it is by far the smallest piece only for being there as the interim HC.

ha yeah fournette only had 225+ yards 3 games in a row. while barely playing if at all in 4th qtr of those games.

luckily coach O took over and realized what a special talent fournette was. no way fournette could have run for more than 233 without him.

He's doing it with Miles' players. No credit allowed.

Maybe so but Miles never was able to do that!

Coaches get credit for wins, losses and recruiting - not single game player performances. That's ridiculous.

If his name isn't Les Miles then those miserable coach O haters that will be miserable as hell for the next 10 to 12 years of coach O's career will not give him credit for anything.

I don’t know about you, but I'm going to enjoy watching those miserable coach O haters being miserable as hell. Indeed, the more miserable those losers are the better.

Good heavens man O has been told to keep his nose out of the offense. He has nothing to do with its success.

Fournette was on pace multiple times in ‘15, but sat most of the 4th quarters in those games.

In 2004 Saban went 9-3. In 2005 Miles went 11-2. Miles got more out of Saban’s players. Therefore, he is the better coach.

Did O recruit those RBs? Has O signed anyone to replace the great RBs he didn't recruit?

Nick Saban was a coach on this list twice. Who can find them?

So you are saying it is directly 100% Miles fault. Glad to have you aboard.
