As someone else posted as well, O said we'd be a playoff team in 2017 when he was campaigning for the job and he was hired on the platform of continuity, not a rebuild. Amazing how quickly so many people forget those those are facts, not message board myths. Those were exact words from O and our AD.
Now it's, he needs time to turn it around. So again, either he's a liar or he's already proven himself incapable of accurately evaluating the talent on his roster.

No excuses this year. With the talent he has anything less then 10 wins would be a disappointment. Lsu plays tough schedules all the time. Last year was an exception and he couldn’t win 10 games with that weak schedule. He needs to do it this year

Yep. I've heard enough about how great everything is going to conclude that we have every right to expect at least 10 wins. All the ingredients are there per the head coach. If we don't win that many, then it's on the head coach. I've not heard any concerns about talent or depth at any position so I'm very excited to know that our head coach, who knows way more than we do about our team, feels this is a title contending squad.

This wasn't a rebuild. We were told O was going to elevate us immediately.

DALE_Gribble - Thanks for the link, good informative write up. I think we can have a good season, But It would have been nice with a couple weaker teams to start the season with a new OC,OL Coach, QB, but you have to play the cards your dealt and I'm sure looking forward to it.

Because I’ll wait to see the results and not worry about credentials. My credentials don’t match my job. I don’t care who the coach is if they are competing for the West. And the supporters of O now doesn’t mean they wanted the hire, I didn’t, but let’s see how the season plays out. He’s entering his 2nd. No one knows for sure. I hope he proves everyone wrong, including me.

I watched Cannon and Stovall play. Lived on the edge of my seat sweating out almost all of Cholly Mac's victories with his Miles style offense.
I've always wondered why, with all the great athletic skilled position players that Louisiana produces, we always seem to run a power style offense.
Hopefully E will get it right.
