Now the SEC sports information directors are saying that A&M will be above us in the West standings at the end of the season!!! I guess they have forgotten that A&M has yet to even beat the Tigers since they joined the SEC much less finish above us in the West standings. They are giving Fisher, ask Taggert about what he left him at FSU, way too much credit. Fisher will have to beat us with Sumilin's players. I am sure looking forward to that game on the schedule!

This is not about the players.
It' s just another referendum on Orgeron (versus his peers) from another college sports constituency.
That the hire is not considered a positive sign for LSU is a broadly held opinion, and should not surprise anyone.

Hmmmm.....
One school went out and hired a national championship winning coach with a history of QB development.
The other whiffed on the same coach and later gave the job to the worst coach in Ole Miss history.
It’s not that far fetched to think aTm is in the rise and LSU is falling.

One of those coaches finished sixth in the ACC Atlantic division last year at 7-6. The other finished third in the SEC West at 9-4.

One of those coaches has a nation title and a few playoff appearances on his resume also. The other has had one winning season as a full time head coach.
See how that works? Stop trying to diminish the significance of Fisher being in our back yard. You're naive if you think he's not a better coach than O.

memphis tiger, how do all your old miss cronies feel about that arse-whoopin in baseball administered by Tennessee Technical ? That old mississippi football program's essentially been a train wreck since archie left; baseball's the school's only competitive sport, and it ain't shite either.

Ole miss has a terrible history in sports, football in particular.
And Ed was the worst coach in a long history of bad coaches there.
Yet we hired him....
