That remains to be seen. I'm not sure Fisher can have the same success at A&M that he had at FSU, and I'm not certain Orgeron's ceiling isn't 9-4 and LSU will be looking for a new coach soon.

What I can say is A&M having Fisher and LSU having Orgeron is not a deciding factor that A&M is on the way up and LSU is on the way down.

That's what happen when you play like chit in your bowl game. The only player that showed up was Guice and he's gone.

On the surface it APPEARS to have very little to do with what memphis said, but I want to see what this memphis tiger has to say about old mississippi.

I don’t give a shite about Ole Miss.

I love how this board seems to think it is more important who recruited players than who coaches them. Somehow, someway, just because they are recruited by Coach X they are either good or bad, no matter how much Coach Y works with them or develops them. It has to be one of the top 10 dumbest things this board clings to and that is quite a distinction.

If Jimbo was coaching LSU and CEO coaching A&M it would be a given

One of those coaches finished sixth in the ACC Atlantic division last year at 7-6. The other finished third in the SEC West at 9-4.

This is not true.

The ACC coach finished 5-6 (3-5). He resigned the day before the ULM game and hauled arse without so much as a "kiss my arse" to his players.

The ACC coach was also 10-10 in his last 20 games against ACC opponents. The LSU coach is 6-2 against SEC opponents.

Ok, I apologize, Sir. I mistook you for someone else. I actually used to know a guy that resides in Memphis and claims to root for BOTH old miss AND LSU. Yeah, I know, mental derangement at its finest. Anyway, he and I had a falling out about 14 years ago. I remember him being big into politics. Bottom line though dude was utterly sick in the head with that old miss LSU oxymoron bullshite.

Not true. If you're going to use Ensminger's past from 20 years ago too prop him up, gotta include Orgeron's past as well.

As you said before, facts are facts and you can't argue facts.

And yet, in 2016, one of the years included in your 10-10 assessment, Fisher's team finished 8th in the Nation. One loss was to No. 10 Louisville and the other to No. 3 Clemson, the eventual National Champion. They closed the season with wins over No. 13 Flordia and and No. 6 Michigan. As much as you might try to spin it, 2016 was a good year for FSU.

Looking at Fisher's whole record 2017 was an outlier. Looking at Orgeron's whole record, 2017 was an outlier. We all hope Orgeron continues to improve this team but, based on past record, Fisher was clearly the superior hire.

Yep, Jimbo is definitely nowhere near the level of his master. Yes, Jimbo won a national title, but then he went tumbling down the mountain. Like many who've reached the pinnacle, he could not sustain success. The program deteriorated a little more each subsequent season. Granted, I do believe he will win a national title at Texas A&M, as he appears to enjoy the challenge of building or rebuilding a program; but again, he has not YET proven that he can SUSTAIN a dynasty. This is precisely why I don't feel Jimbo is worth 7 mill a year.

I don't know about this year, but next year they're going to be a problem if they keep this level of recruiting up.

Just play as hard and as smart as you can. We don't need to listen to the positive or the negative!

Why does anyone give a crap what these so called experts predict! How often have they right? The game is played on the field and that's where it will be decided

Respect is earned

10-25 worst all time at Ole Miss

1st ever loss to Sunbelt

Worst loss ever to Moo State.

Whiff on position of need CB

Fight with OC needing unprecedented meeting with AD

Fire 1st year OC (take your pick did it at Ole Miss too)

I understand many LSU fans choose to ignore these things and assume O is a good HC, but it’s unreasonable to suggest that anyone without a rooting interest in LSU ignore or forget these things.

Those are facts. I can't disagree with facts. I think most of us are simply HOPING. We have hope in 1 hand and shite in the other. Aranda is fantastic. We're hoping Ensfinger and Burrow and krewe will be great and that O will just "ride." Maybe we're in for one hell of a treat. Maybe we'll turn out to be utter fools. Everybody plays the fool; there's no exception to the rule.

I'm kind slow so you are gonna have to slowly remind me how many yards this failure of a coach put up against a&m the past 2 years?

We beat Auburn last year and finished behind them in the standings. Haven't looked at the Ags schedule but I doubt it has Fla and UGA on it cross division.
