Pretty easy to have the #1 rush defense when teams are forced into passing to keep up with the Auburn O.

LSU has a confused mess at linebacker, and a defensive line that, while talented, hasn’t worked as a unit in an actual game. Oregon’s offensive line is rebuilding, that’s true, but they’re are rebuilding an offense that scored nearly 50 points a game last season. Jordan Jefferson and the Tigers can’t score more than four touchdowns, and the Ducks aren’t stopping. LaMichael James can make 60 out of the smallest crease. The Tigers 3rd linebacker or fifth defensive back will have to cover Rahsaan Vaughn or Colt Lyerla

Sir, what was the winning percentage of the teams that UO played last year?

I think that UO's best chance of winning will be inept QB play by LSU.

But it clearly shows all you saw last year was SEC football and not other national programs play much.

After watching SEC football, there is NOTHING more that you need to see.

If you guys think that prediction isn't a distinct possibility in this game, you are fooling yourselves. I can definitely envision Orgon winning 42-24. I can also envision LSU winning 42-24. And of course, everything in between.

Most times, when two equal teams meet, the game is closely played. But about 25% of the time, one team gets on a roll (for whatever reason), and the final score isn't close at all - and certainly not indicative of how equal the two teams are.

I'm not disagreeing with the possible final score, but with the author's grave ignorance of this LSU team (e.g Josh Downs being our most experienced DL, LB & DB corps being so overwhelmed).
