Who cares. Washington sucks and you guys are going to beat them senselessly. I would be more worried about Ole Miss if I were y'all.
Geaux Tigers. Don't take your foot off the gas against the douches from Seattle this week.

Virgin? Lol. Y'all don't think TM7 took that down before and after his video shoot? Probably during, too

If you're this angry, you don't have a clear perception of what the realistic college life is nowadays. As I said before Oregon-LSU after the Cliff Harris incident, the majority of college students and the VAST majority of college football players (yes, even those at LSU) smoke pot. It's not an issue. At all. The fact that people get so worked up about it shows the incredibly attitude gap between generations.
It must have been an NCAA test, because teams don't even punish players for their internal tests until the 5th+ failed test.

Reading through the threads on here, why are so many of you scared of Florida?
Posted by ntxduck on 10/7/11 at 11:24 pm
From a non-partial observer, this game won't even be close. 31-10 Tigers. Florida won't be able to move the ball to save their lives.
1. My friend made a great comment during the game last night that I think personifies how good LSU's D is this year...with the Tigers driving up 9-6 late in the 3rd (I believe that was the scenario), he says "LSU looking for a fg here to make it a 2 possession game". With y'alls D, 6 points is basically a 2 possession game.
2. You're kidding yourself if you don't think Oregon would beat Miss. St.

Luckily, I had knee reconstruction surgery earlier this summer so plenty of time to read!
Awesome read...thanks for posting. I'm just about done rereading (for the 4th or 5th time) the Shelby Foote trilogy on the war, and there's good tidbits on the Louisiana Tigers in there as well.
I'm sure you all are well-versed in the Civil War and don't need urging, but the Foote series is fantastic and the most comprehensive telling of the war out there, IMO. I minored in history, btw and my favorite professor was an LSU grad.

The poster who said Oregon waxes good teams but struggles against elite teams is right on....
Oregon will not beat the LSU/BAMAs of the world until we get elite talent on both lines (right now we have that talent everywhere else). Oregon had a great OL recruiting class last year, but OL usually aren't physically ready to contribute for 2-3 years. Ducks have been extremely unlucky in recent year recruiting DL (seems like every elite DL we get doesn't qualify or fails out).

Once again, don't judge duck fans based on Educk...it's nothing but a really old (60+) crotchety crowd over there who barely know how to use the internet. There's many Duck fans (myself included) who argue more on there with fellow duck fans than with opposing fans.
As for their thoughts on Tigerdroppings..hilarious.
Honestly, this is the best fan site I've ever come across. Hope y'all don't mind if I stick around and post from time to time.

Would love to read more about the Barn game (I'm assuming this is where the field house burned down?). Anyone got a link to a good story/article on it?

Haha! No, that wasn't us. Did have a great convo with an LSU fan from Memphis leaving the stadium though

Lamest...flame....ever
The fumbles did play a large part in the final spread, but Oregon doesn't win that game even without the turnovers (just becomes a closer finish).
I thought our defense was fine, just got worn down from the offense's continual 3 and outs and turnovers.
LSU's defense, as we knew going in, was phenomenal. Oregon's weak/inexperienced groups at WR and OL only exacerbated the problem. Truthfully, Oregon isn't a very good team right now...They remind me a lot of the 2009 Ducks that lost @ Boise. The OL has talent but is very young. The WR group has talent (3 great freshmen and a stud JC transfer) that Kelly was hoping to redshirt, but it's apparent he won't be able to do that. The Duck WR's couldn't get separation all night, allowing the Tigers to crowd the line with their CBs and Safeties. This, in turn, killed any chance of the Ducks having a run game (that was already on life support do the the LSU freaks on the dline).
Oregon isn't a good team...yet. As in 2009 though, by mid-October this could be a VERY good team if the OL comes together and some young burners step up at WR. Thankfully the schedule is pretty soft until then.
Also, Mathieu is easily the most polished DB I can ever remember Oregon playing...WOW

The difference between Oregon and LSU students was pretty funny to me. The Oregon fans (dressed like skater punks, as I've seen it described here) with the skinny jeans, vintage tee, flat-billed snapback....The LSU fratties all with the khaki shorts, lavender polos, raybans with lanyard and extremely over-curved polo hat....with the Bama Bangs protruding underneath. Pretty interesting to see the contrast in style between two far off corners of our country.

Ah...I saw the student section moving, didn't know that's what they were doing. All in all, I thought LSU fans were fine...a bunch of my good friends are LSU grads though so I know most of the shi*-talking and ribbing is all in fun. Many Ducks aren't used to that since Pac12 fans are extremely mellow and friendly, so their skin isn't as thick. You go to a game in Berkeley and most people will just ignore you if you are in Duck gear, the worst you will get is a "Go Bears!".
The only real confrontations I saw were when Oregon fans booed the LSU players faking injuries and LSU fans started yelling at them.

LOVED the band...seriously...as a Duck fan your band still sent chills down my spine. Couldn't hear any of the student section cheers....tailgated at a remote location (my house in HP) and took a limo in, so I donno how the tailgaiting atmosphere was, but walking in in it seemed pretty tame (due to it being a massive parking lot). The crowd was LOUD...much louder than Auburn fans at the Natty.
One question, I've noticed there is a LOT of hatred between Auburn and LSU...Auburn fans talking mess on y'all at the natty and LSU fans talking bad about Auburn all weekend...would love to hear how this hatred started.

"I would compare this match up to more of LSU vs GT chic fil a bowl"

As an Oregon fan, this is 100000x more embarrassing than anything Cliff Harris has ever done
