bullshite - it is falsely stated on your signature line.

TigerLunitik - You are being dishonest by omitting context. I was referring specifically to LSU's failure to provide an area and a sufficient number of machines for receivers to easily get 100 minimum Jugs reps daily - 365 days a year (like the Big Boys do)

The fact is that Bama is the only team that Orgeron has faced with more talent excluding the '17 State game. Mullen just coached the game of his life that night.

NFL QB
2 NFL RBS
NFL olineman
NFL wrs
NFL te
a defense littered with future nfl players

you cant expect O to have all that NFL talent and compete with miss st.

be reasonable

Close losses to UT and UF with a win at Bama, and things could get really interesting.

We don’t need to beat Bama. 10-2 with losses to Bama and Texas COULD get us in depending on the rest of the country shakes out.

Would you consider 10-2 a major disappointment if we got into the playoff?

The sentence above is why saying a blanket statement like “11-1 or bust” is so dumb.

You're misquoting or misunderstanding.

anyway, success is subjective.
A team won the NC with two losses

Only an idiot would call making the playoff a disappointment. The point is that going 10-2 severely diminishes and all but eliminates a team's chances of making the playoff. You have to depend on a LOT of variables going in your favor.

Even the elite coaches lose games they shouldn't. As we said before, it takes a certain amount of luck to do that. Only 1 or maybe 2 coaches do this at the P5 level every year. I will never understand the "championship or bust" mentality or the 11 wins or failure mentality. Now, if we lose 2 games and one is in the same manner as the ND game, then we can talk about failure or disappointing.

Case in point, every one of Saban's losses since 2011 were games he was favored. That being said, they would all be considered a "disappointment" if you were a Bama fan. Even his ridiculous level of success has not been immune to criticism.

Absolutely not, but 10-2 would be most likely to land us in another NY6 bowl, not the CFP. 10-2 + NY6 bowl win with no appearance in the SECCG would be disappointing to me, but I still wouldn’t call it abject failure. Improvement is improvement. I just think this year is set up for lagniappe.

Excuse me, but, how many national championships did Bo Schembeckler win for Michigan? I hardly think you could call him a bust. Did good ole Cholly Mac ever win a National Championship?

Give it a rest.

This season does present a unique blend of really good veteran players at key positions while also sprinkling in young, dynamic playmakers. Add getting almost all of our tough games at home with a senior QB that is more than just an average game manager and it's a recipe that doesn't happen all that often.

Signing a great recruiting class means jack shite if you do nothing with it. I’m not saying he won’t win a championship, I’m just pointing out that as of yet, he has not and if he ever d

It's very, very difficult to win a national championship. A division championship and maybe a SEC Championship or even a playoff berth is an outstanding season. If people can't accept that then it's a them problem and not a Coach O problem.
