I to was watching White with delayed blitz, he really abused the center, #54. Went back and looked at replays and noticed 54's face - he was totally dismayed!!

I had forgotten the first penalty that Devin drew. I was glad the article had the videos. The lineman was wondering why White was picking on him.

Why? Can the loudmouths not handle it when they are completely wrong?

My guess is that some can and some can't, but that wasn't my point.

My point was, why does Ree put stock in every random opinion he reads on the rant?

Why can't fans have arguments about whether or not Cushenburry will be a solid contributor without being subjected to a whole thread dedicated to calling them out because they were wrong?

And maybe I missed it, but I don't remember anyone being overly definitive that he was garbage. Most of the posts I remember about him were that he was a question mark and some people weren't confident he was an SEC caliber starter.

How about we dig up some of your posts claiming Matt Canada could have the best offense in the SEC.

Yes please. I don't remember saying that. I may have but I certainly don't remember saying anything about leading the SEC in offense.

thanks in advance !!!

Who will be Coach Canada's biggest competition to have the top scoring offense in the SEC?

Posted by Tiger Ree   on 7/25/17 at 10:15 am

Last year Matt Canada:
Pitt scored a total of 532 points for an average of 40.9 points per game - 10th in the nation.

No other SEC team finished in the top 10. The next highest was Alabama:
582 points, average 38.8, 16th in 15 games.

Coach Eaux and LSU have Matt Canada coming in to coach the LSU offense while Alabama lost the OC who had them at 16th in average points per game. The next highest was Tennessee at 24th.

Will Canada have the top scoring offense in the SEC or will Bama with a new OC be able to top him? Auburn? Anyone else?

Do you think there be any explosive offenses in the SEC next season?

Coach speak - Lets see

Saddiq Charles getting better every week really means came in out of shape.

Brumfield Experienced leader really means vocal guy

Cushenberry - iS very smart- really means lacking physical traits

Whenever someone mentions Cushenberry, It always followed by how smart he is. No one has ever said he can't block ,but it's about putting the 5 best blockers on the field

Cushenberry most likely wasn't going to start this year. He was in a position battle with Brumfield. When Ingram got suspended it meant he would start for sure.

And you take this as me making "claims" that Canada will have the best offense in the SEC?

You are really reaching Lunatic?

All you're doing is continuing to foster an environment in which things will be thrown right back in your face when the tables are turned.

Not because people want bad things to happen to LSU, but because people that jump on here the second the game's over to call people out have degraded all of this down to a pissing match about who's right and who's wrong.

From you in that thread
quote:

Canada scored 76 points on Syracuse last year while at Pitt. Syracuse comes to LSU this year and Canada will have Aranda feeding his offense the ball quite often. I wonder how many times LSU has scored over 100 points in a game?

Yea, you weren't talking Canada up at all

auburn was playing man press all day.the slants helped beat that as long as we get INSIDE leverage. other things that beat that are back shoulders and seams which we did not do. we would kill teams in man coverage with those routes. let the big guys go up and get them or put size and leverage on them outside and inside. crosses also beat man if u get separation. that play to dillon was where you had to drop in in between the LBs and safties. you can also punish cover 2 going down the middle or a post route. seams for cover 3. any time they are playing anything other than cover 0 or cover 1 you have to make them pay underneath whether man or zone.

the two point conversion try was there we just missed it. only 4 guys rushed. brossette blocked nobody. line held. he shoulda leaked out over the middle. nobody was there. the ILBs had dropped into coverage. 3 of our WR's were essentially double teamed. far receiver on right was doing a deep IN and fell down. he was single covered. may have been open had he not fell. brossete has to read that play and get out if there is no 5th rusher.

we could also run more at those DB's on the outside playing man press. they had no S or LB help. it was a hat on a hat. make Wr's block them.pound them with more horizontal stretches until they capitulate then counter again.

thing is we had bad down and distance all day it seemed. need more positive plays on 1st and second down to prevent all those 3rd and longs. we are lucky they did not blitz more on those. We shoulda audibled to a RB screen when you saw they were blitzing burrow on that 3rd down keeper.

You say you don’t promote the negativity then post shite like this... You could have easily focused on how well Cush has played, but instead that gets completely thrown aside so you can stir the pot with the same people you continuously argue in circles with. I can’t decide whether the “positive” or “negative” group is more obnoxious at this point

I don't understand why people feel the need to throw your misses up in your face.

I was bigtime wrong on Brossette. I admitted it.

who on here didn't think the Canada hire was a good one? He had won some kind of OC of the year award the prior year and had Pitts offense clicking. But once he got here and you actually get to see it on the field with LSU players in the SEC it doesn't look so great. Still maybe it would have worked but it was more a personality issue with him it seems. It was a rushed hire and that part of it didn't get properly looked into. Perhaps With more one on one time with Coach O and Aranda with Canada they would have seen this issue and not hired him.
