I was there surrounded by trashy loud U fans. Man that game was fun but watching those fans melt might have been more fun.

Damn, that article says 2 Miami players were knocked unconscious. Usually these on field skirmishes in football are pretty lame with players slapping each other’s helmets like idiots. Miami really did lose twice that day.

Tigers broke the U that night.

Always a joy to see a media darling get crushed.

Their team has fallen but their fans are still just as mouthy. I went to the LSU-Miami game at AT&T Stadium to start the 2018 season. Late in the game when it was obvious that LSU was going to win, one of their female fans starts yelling, 'Ya'll gonna beat 'Bama? Ya'll gonna beat 'Bama?'. After about the fourth or fifth time she screamed it, I finally turned and said, 'I don't know. But we're sure as hell going to beat Miami! Geaux Tigers!'. That must have answered her question because she quit asking it.

I was also at that game. You couldn’t really see much of the fight from where I was.

LSU kicked the crap out of them twice that evening.

'05 was a more evolved team than '04?

The point was, none of the faults people have of Les' time here had shown up at that point. Saban didn't leave until 04 so that would mean Les' 1st season in 05 is what we're talking about. Who saw the faults then? Therefore how could we expect evolution of something we hadn't yet seen? The original poster I replied to was essentially talking out of his arse based on things that happened after the game in question here.

Are we grasping the concept yet?

I was in the press box for this one and enjoyed every minute of this beatdown. Oh yeah the food and complimentary Chick Fil A sandwiches in the Geaorgia Dome press box made this a perfect night of football for me.

I recall Hester played some FB to Addai’s TB during the season. watching our white fullback plow though them for 10 yards a pop in the 2nd half was awesome
