Their QB is an A+. We have a B- turnover machine with 5 in 2 games against bad competition.

Try not to over analyze statistical rankings after 2 games. But you can watch the Louisville game and read Pete’s quotes after Charlotte game to know the secondary is kinda Sus.

It doesn’t mean they can’t still beat LSU, but im comfortable predicting a general fall off from last season when you play out the schedule.

Reminder of their SEC schedule last year:
@UK
Ark
LSU(we sucked)
@UGA
@OU
USC
UF
@MSU

Winning at OU coming off UGA road loss was very impressive, but outside of that stretch it was an incredibly soft schedule by SEC standards.

Compare to this year:
LSU(better than last year)
@UF(should be better than last year)
@Vandy
Mizz
@Texas
Auburn
UGA
@OU
MSU

If their D is gonna have issues like that unresolved, they could easily lose 4 games regardless of what happens this weekend. Chambliss is amazing but relying on him playing hero ball eventually falls flat in an SEC gauntlet

I like where your head is with going off stats. However thru three games I wouldn't put all my stock into this.

I do think eye test wise. LSU is the better total football team.

I honestly think the game comes down to stopping Trinidad. He is there only hope to beat LK and the tigers. He was very clutch last year!

The play has to be play containment on the ends when you rush him, and put pressure in his face.

The ends have to play sound assignment football. I think their shot of winning is this dude going Johnny Football from the A&M days. Running all over the field and just making extended plays. Play containment. Try to play them like Miami did.

Play contain and then see if you can't outscore them thinking they took a step back defensively

I watch Chambliss hang his nuts on Kirby’s defenses twice in one season regardless of what we think of ole Miss that kid is a a dude at qb defense will have to be on their A-game for 4 quarters agasint that QB

Because it's an extremely small sample size.

Wait, so suddenly Louisville it a quality/elite program? LMAO.
That's very clearly not what I said. I said they played a "good offense" in week 1, which I'm not really sure how you could disagree with that if you actually watched Lincoln Kienholz. Jeff Brohm is a good coach, and they have a solid team. I didn't say anything about Louisville being Elite, but they are damn sure better than Clemson.

My only point here is that, while I agree that Ole Miss's defense is probably in the bottom half of the SEC, I don't think it would be smart to use that game at a neutral site in their opener as a direct indication of how they will play this Saturday at home. I believe LSU's the better team, especially defensively, but Ole Miss will likely play their best game this week.

I would not be shocked to hear that Ole Miss barely prepped last week for Charlotte. Probably spent the last two weeks prepping for LSU.

I watched replay of Charlotte game and surprised how bad their defensive line is. They got pushed around a bit.

I wouldn't assume anything. If we play like we did in the first-half against, Tech, it will be a long day. I don't see either team blowing out the other.

Louisville was a solid offense in the 2nd half when they took the leash off the QB and he gained some confidence. So the OM def looks bad in rankings when everyone else was playing cupcakes. So it is skewed a bit. But LSU defense is definitely better.

34 - 20 means Sam threw 2 or 3 ints and they scored points off them. If we play good, I say 48-17

You really think LSU Offense is better the Ole Miss Offense this year?

We are sure going to find out. But I don't know about that man.

I will tell you this. They haven't faced a defense like this yet. So we shall see.

Charlotte had 3-4 WR wide arse open a few times but the QB couldn’t hit them. Louisville had a few as well. OM is better at QB and RB but we are better at every other position.

I think we get pressure up the middle. Miami disrupted Chambliss last year with up the middle pressure. Our DT and LB pressure while the edge guys don’t over pursue.

Their D isn't as bad as they seem. They just aren't in shape. They gassed out in both games but especially against Louisiville. Being out of shape isn't a good recipe when playing a Kiffin offense though.

If we can weather the initial onslaught, we can wear them down in the second half. The adrenaline will only last so long. We need to play smart and not make any stupid mistakes that allow them to get ahead early.

Saying that Ole Miss has anything less than a very good offense is idiotic, and thinking that Ole Miss's defense isn't going to play extremely hard with a good gameplan is a good way to get your feelings hurt this weekend.
him saying or thinking anything has no effect on how the game goes lol.
I like LSU’s offense vs Ole Miss defense a lot more than the reverse for Ole Miss.

Except Chambliss isn’t near the level of Daniels, and they don’t have a Nabers or BTJ. People are overthinking it because of the emotion factor.

As long as the LSU players can treat this as just another game and don’t turn the ball over, they’ll win by two touchdowns at the least.

Watching Max Browne’s show on YouTube, he breaks down the concepts that Louisville hurt Ole Miss with and how those are some of the same plays we have just dressed up differently, and we’ve already hit big plays on this year.

Maybe, but everyone is talking about how bad LSU was against La Tech and forgetting that ole piss played Charolette. I would actually look at those two teams as similar since they have each beaten each other once.

We shall see what happens soon enough!
