OM 105th in Total Defense, 39th in total offense

OM defense is terrible and the offense is not much better. Clearly LSU should win going away. LSU defense plays up to par LSU offense gets more touches than OM. QB and RB are elite but our offense has as more weapons than OM. Green as one example. Away game and hype cuts the score down a little, in the end though I think LSU wins going away.

I think LSU is better, but at Ole Miss and they will be fired up, so anything can happen.

Their D isn't as bad as they seem. They just aren't in shape. They gassed out in both games but especially against Louisiville. Being out of shape isn't a good recipe when playing a Kiffin offense though.

I do not think so. Our defense is elite and for real. They gave up 38 against Louisville, should have lost. LSU will have more chances to score against an average OM defense.

All that these stats really say is that Ole Miss played a good offense in week 1 (most teams haven't scheduled a good opponent), and that their offense hasn't poured it on anyone.
Saying that Ole Miss has anything less than a very good offense is idiotic, and thinking that Ole Miss's defense isn't going to play extremely hard with a good gameplan is a good way to get your feelings hurt this weekend.

whether you forfeit or not, it is pretty telling how bad your defense has been, with the great Pete calling it. In addition, you supposedly have two heisman candidates and your offense is around 40th in the nation against two teams lacking defense.....I understand why you play it off.
I'll say this, I think if LSU just doesn't make massive mistakes, they win going away. Their defense is MUCH better than OM, and the LSU offense is better than the OM offense. Coaching is a joke compared to LSU....BUT, you do have a better kicker. Congrats. LSU COULD lose this game if they play poorly. However, if they do lose this game then they aren't a championship contender.....because OM damn sure isn't.

LSU is the better overall team imo. but OM is at home and their quarterback has the ability to take over a game.

You haven't watched him this year without Lane and Weiss calling the plays. He is very suspect. You forgetting, they playing a couple teams not good on defense, and they supposedly have a very experienced offense. I can see LSU missing some plays, with all new players, but OM should be past that. They have some issues. Chambliss gets way too much credit. If it were really legit, he would be in the NFL right now, instead of his 6th year in college. He knows he isn't good enough, and the scouts know it too.

Plenty of great college qbs can’t make it in the nfl. You are right, I think he will miss lane and Charlie this year, but one game he can still do some damage.

Wait, so suddenly Louisville it a quality/elite program? LMAO. They had a kid starting his first game since high school and he was dog shite terrible in the first half. He was better in the second half, but OM blew about 4 plays completely on defense and louisville had guys running 15 yards wide open. Hell, he had that opportunity in the first half dude was 20 yards open, and he couldn't hit the pass. LOL

He will be going against an NFL defense this Saturday.....or close to it. Yes, the entire offense is way out of sync without Lane and Weiss setting up the plays. It is very easy to tell. I will be surprised if OM scores 20 on us, assuming we don't turn it over deep on our own end.

All that these stats say Ole Miss's defense is at a substantially different level than LSU's. Now, Ole Miss may have a miraculous conversion this week, but the stats point to a very different conclusion.
