Right now they're just angry because they know this hurts their chances in the playoffs substantially.
It may not be now because all of their hate is focused on LSU and their coach… but sometime in the future, they’ll be mad at the AD. They’ll look back at this season with clouded memory of they actual chances and ponder what could have been if they just had let him finish the season.

Notre Dame has been selected mythical NCAA football national champions several times. They have never won a championship.

It's not my fricking money. Who are you to tell anyone how to spend their money?

failing at Tennessee, USC and LSU.
He didn't fail at Tennessee. He had a winning record there after taking over a dumpster fire. He was a fluke play away from beating Bama who won the BCS that year. He simply left for his dream job.
You can't really say he failed at USC. He was 8-5 and 10-2 in his first two seasons and then the Reggie Bush NCAA sanctions took hold with a loss of 30 scholarships over three years. It was reported that Haden, the AD, didn't really want to fire him but was forced to do so.
He hasn't and won't fail at LSU. He's proven that he can win in the SEC. It's certainly more impressive than playing a service academy and that weak arse Irish schedule.
Look, you got a good one in Marcus Freeman. Enjoy that!
If you're scared at what Kiffin might be able to do at LSU, with all of its inherent advantages, just say you're scared. Your posts indicate that you're "whistling past the graveyard".

If you look at history of places like Ole Miss, Miss State, Tulane etc. coaches that have had success always move on to greener pastures. Happens again and again.

They got uppity and we had to remind them that even their best season we are the bigger better cousin.

Notre Dame is a National brand just like Alabama, Texas, Ohio State, Georgia.
Notre Dame hasn’t won a national title since 1988.
Since then, the other teams you listed have won:
Alabama: 7
Ohio State: 3
Georgia: 2
Texas: 1
LSU has won 3.
Alabama is the only program in the country with more national titles than LSU in that time span. Meanwhile there are 19 programs with more recent national titles than Notre Dame.
Even during the DiNardo years, LSU was still more successful than Notre Dame.

Yesterday was the worst day in Oxford Mississippi since President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation.

They have just been sent to the bottom of the SEC.

Ironically Pat Haden deep-sixed Lane Kiffin in favor of *gasp* Oeaux!
