What were those signals? The ump pointed foul. Then he walked up to first and pointed fair or towards second like he was the 1st base coach telling the batter to run.

It was either a live ball or a foul ball. Ump signaled foul, it can’t be reviewed it’s foul.
Ump says he signaled fair (he didn’t, but eventually did), then runner should be at second and can’t be reviewed
I don’t get it

Batter should be in the batters box in my opinion. Can’t just call a dead ball and then decide to say it’s live. This isn’t red light, green light.
