I support NOT paying Underwood. He committed to come under an arrangement, and backed out. Screw him if he can't honor his word and doesn't want to be a Tiger!
I do not buy the "I don't blame the kid" narrative.....he is setting a bad precedent: commitment means NOTHING.

When Vandy is marching up and down the field on us tomorrow, it will sink in with a few more folks.
You could give BK a roster full of all americans two deep like Saban had and he still would find a way to lose 2-3 games a year. Players and more importantly PARENTS see this.

No you are not. Not really because the rest of your post laments the status of the Program vis a vis all this as a backdrop.

Look admit it. If Underwood were to show up in BR in the Spring, you'd be happier than homosexual in prison over it and like the rest of us you'd give him an unreasonably short leash because we paid him and his family millions.

You thought we could plug in a competent coach after Orgeron, and make miracles happen after having to replace 40+ roster spots.....funy thing, he did gets to SEC Championship in year 1 and finds a heisman trophy winner being misused in Tempe, AZ and develops a pretty stout receiving corps in the process in those two years. If he’s guaranteed to be JD, I could see that… but the fact is as long as we have a really good QB we’ll be fine.
I’m more concerned about BK. I still think he can coach, and who thought Sloan would be this bad? Honestly at this point it would be better if we had someone just writing what the consensus on the Score Board is. There’s no way he could’ve known it would be *that* horrible.
Honestly if Sloan were smart he’d read the fricking message boards. We’re arm chair coaches and typically don’t know anything but that guy knows NOTHING.
