You would think after years of getting beat up in the playoffs they would be used to this by now, but no, they think this good but not great OU team stands a great chance against us. They think because their defense is better than last year this team is somehow an elite team like LSU/OSU/Clemson this year. Their defense is still clearly worse than all 3 of those teams.
Their defense is ranked #36 by SP+. Just for reference the closest defense we've played that's close to that is:
Ole Miss (#42) - 714 yards, 58 points
Guess they will have to learn yet another lesson.
