Maybe he meant "mighty"?

You said a mouthful and summed it up very well! I couldn't agree more.

A good friend of mine and a huge OU supporter texted me yesterday and said OU has played like crap all year and expects the score to be: LSU 45. OU 17.

Has he been saving his explosive offense for the playoffs? That 2nd half against Baylor could beat anybody in the country. We flashed our talent all over the field. I still Hurts can throw it deep if given the chance

Have y’all watched any tape on Joe Burrow? He’s broken every QB SEC record there is this year while being about as perfect of a passer as you can be, percentage wise. We throw the ball all over with 5 guys who can really hurt you. You guys have two guys on offense even remotely close to our 5. We have 6 if you include Burrow which it’s now playoff time so he must be included.
Did you see what he did against Georgia when he was clearly out schemed and out smarted? He simply used his talent and started running and throwing like he was in a backyard. Y’all may get some sacks on Burrow because he will take a few of those a game but that’s about it. Our offense carved up Florida, Auburn, Alabama and Georgia. The best teams in our league for years.
You can look at the final score of Auburn and say this team can be slowed down but most of that was our own bad play. We drove up and down the field on Auburn as well. This team is just a dominant team and it’s going to take some real miracle to slow it down. You aren’t stopping it. I’ve watched football for a long time and I’ve never seen anything like this.
We have everything you could want and more on offense and our defense is filled with 1st round talent. Georgia did a great job scheming our offense and still couldn’t keep it from scoring 37 points. I mean maybe with 3 weeks y’all can come up with a way to slow it down but how long will that last? I just don’t see how this will be a good game for Oklahoma. Maybe I’m wrong but I doubt it.
Y’all aren’t even that physical of a team. Our WRs are like RBs and our RBs are like WRs. Then we have Burrow and Moss. Add McMath to the mix as well. We’re big at WR, physical, fast, can jump and run perfect routes. The scheme is based off of leverage and if you’ve wondered why no one can stop it, this is why. There is no set route tree. It’s based off of the defenses alignment. So it can be adjusted easily at the LOS. Have a blitz coming that’s fine CEH will run a route into the vacated spot or send him to a weak area of the defense based on its leverage. Disguising is all you can do to defend against this offense so good luck to y’all.

I've watched every LSU game. Burrow is a fantastic quaterback and your team is damn good. The best team in the country, in fact. I just don't think OU is going to get blown out.
Also, how were you able to type that novel of post while beating off at the same time?

I am from OK but went to school at LSU. I will be visiting family for 2 weeks over the holidays. All my LSU gear is packed. Should be good times!!

Won't be a blow out?? Didnt OU have to come back both times playing Baylor??? OU seems to forget that the times JHurts was Bamas QB with more talent than OU has, the games weren't blowouts and he didnt run all over us. My prediction is a very similar game to and outcome to this year's A&M game.

I'm in Dallas and have several OU friends. They are all dreading playing us so not all OU people are delusional.

No.

That is an odd way to say that Jalen Hurts has never lost to LSU.

To each his own.

I would expect OK fans to be confident.
No big deal.
Gotta play the game

You’re a cocky frick for someone’s team who hasn’t been very impressive at all this year. Don’t know what you see that makes you think this isn’t going to be a one sided ball game but I think you should keep your mouth shut until then.

It's weird to be called cocky when I'm flat out stating that the team I support is going to lose and I'm only disagreeing with you that it is going to be a blowout. Which one of us does that make cocky?
Lol, alright big guy.

So CLR has a secret playbook too??

For certain I am not going to expose myself to a tiger board before the game. But give me a Sooner victory and I am not above letting them know how it feels to have a little shite stuck up their nose for about 24 hours before going on to our next game.

Idk why y’all get so upset that other message boards think their team will win. If the roles were reversed we would have the exact same threads on here

I think he has plays/players that he hasn't fully utilized yet that we should see in this game.
You have older wide recieves like Lee Morris and Nick Basquine who have gotten lots of minutes, but just aren't very good. They should be replaced by guys like Theo Wease and Trejan Bridges who are on the same level athletically as the guys they will be matching up with on the other side of the ball.
I know your post was sarcastic, but there are certainly ways that CLR could evolve in this game. That said, as good of an offensive game planer as he is, he has a tendency to panic as a play caller in high stress situations. I imagine the stress level will be at 11 this whole game, which is one of the reasons I think LSU wins.
