I'm warming up to the Johnny Jones idea, and I know most want a guy with La. ties, but I would make Bruce Weber tell us "No" as well since he seems to be on the way out of Illinois this year.

I'd take Weber and two years of bad fan support if it means we get to the point he had Illinois (that is 2/3 of his time there he made the NCAA).
I'm not saying he'd even consider coming here though, in fact I feel he might actually laugh if Alleva called him up

frick Bruce Pearl. Guy is a disaster for a program and not that great of a coach.
But I do agree that LSU needs a good salesman as a coach to excite the fans.
