I've only been to about 8 or 10 LSU football games, and I've only witnessed one loss. That loss was UF 09. Woke up early for college gameday, was excited about all the festivities, but I have no clue how LSU was ranked #4 at the time, fwiw.

At any rate, the game dragged on. Besides the fact that LSU's offense was atrocious and the enigma of Russell Shepard not getting any playing time, it was the fact that UF kept their offense vanilla (an understatement) that only added to the loss. It was HB Dive the whole game and they knew they would still win with that kind of gameplan. Like I said, it is the only loss I have witnessed live so by default that is going to be the worst experience.

My best experience would probably be SCAR 07 when Matt Flynn flipped the ball over his head to Colt David.

Did anybody go to the South Carolina game in 1993 or 94?

It was a monsoon the entire game...and Tanneyhill killed us.

Virginia Tech 2007-Amazing game, terrible what happened before.

My buddy met up with me on the way to the game. He was wasted, but still walking around tiger baiting fans, and his armpits were sweating through his button down uncontrollably. An ugly sight.

On the way to the stadium we walked through the lockett parking lot and he had to piss. Well he walks to this bush and this old Cajun man says "Don't go over dere, dey got a hornets nest". He didn't heed the warning and came back swatting his legs, claiming he got stuck in a thorn bush, when they were really hornet stings! He then threw up on the asphalt and slipped in it. I got him up and he laid on a stone bench by the stadium.

Being a great friend I left him there and went to the game alone.

Got drunk, had to leave at in the 2nd quarter, half-carried by a pledge and his date. I don't do that shite any more.

Edit: I don't remember which game it was.

The Tennessee game after Katrina was by far the worst experience for a gameday. My little brother came to stay with me after the hurricane and he was 15 at the time. I let him have a tall boy, but didn't want to get him drunk. My dumbass roomate fed him shots of vodka right outside of the stadium without my knowledge. We had to go in through separate gates and by the time I caught up with him he was trashed. We stayed through the middle of the second quarter and then I took his drunk arse home. Needless to say, the second half meltdown and my puking 15 year old brother made for a terrible terrible day.

Florida 08 or 09 in Gainesville. Don't really remember the year.

Fans were terrible there. As we're the cops. I hate that city

Worst ever was when i was 11 years old vs Florida in 2001. Live in New Orleans so the story starts like this:

My dad and I are 5 miles past the spillway when we find we have the wrong tickets in the car so thats a wasted 30 minutes. After getting the tickets my favorite car flag flies off into the swamps (i was 11 so i was pissed) and we hit the gameday traffic. By the tme the game starts it proceeds to start pouring down and it doesnt help that Rex Grossman and Spurrier are having their way with us. By the time it 37-9, my dad and i had enough and had to walk to our car in knee high water. Shoes and socks were soaked and it capped off one of the worst days of my childhood

Has to be the Appalachian state game that was moved to 11 because of hurricane. We thought it be fun to tailgate all night...horrible idea, never been so miserable left in 2nd quarter thought we were all gonna have heat strokes

07 Arky. The disappointment was only surpassed by the game that shall not be named. But I wasn't at that one.

'88 Miami game....rained so hard

Any LSU/Fla game in the 90's barring the '97 game. Those were some merciless beatings to sit thru.

'97 regular season ND game. Rain, 40degrees and I got left at the stadium and had to walk to Chili's I think it was on Highland and my brothers girlfriend had to pick me up. And I couldn't stand that bitch.

'02 Cotton Bowl. Freezing cold, 11am kickoff and the line in the bathroom was so unbearable, the idea of urinating in a trash can in front of a Dallas cop almost seemed like a good idea.

Florida v LSU (2001). Saban's second LSU team got trounced by the Gators and Rex Grossman. It was a day game, 52 degrees with drizzle, and Rex threw for what seemed like 600 yards with every pass being exactly on the money. It was a miserable day. Final score: LSU 15 Florida 44.

I think you're thinking of the 1999 game, where Doug Johnson and crew beat us 31-10 in a game that wasn't nearly that close. Only reason I say that is because it was nasty and rainy that day, and the field was very sloppy; the game with Grossman in 2001 was cold and overcast, but no rain.

...and we lost. That was one of those times I said "I'd never been so cold". At least we kicked their arse in the Independence Bowl, and at least it was one year after they dropped the name "Poulan Weedeater Bowl".

The Cap one Bowl was cold too, but the bad thing there was the moisture. Even with a poncho I lost a Cellphone and an LSU watch to that damn water!

Easy memory for me: Went to LSU vs FLA in Tiger stadium when Tebow was a senior (2009). Traveled from Houston to Baton Rouge with my wife in the hopes of getting tickets and watching game. Spent $800 on tickets to watch game - in Fla. section. When game officially ended guy next to me "accidentally" clocked me with a right uppercut in celebration. He was so drunk it didn't even hurt. I wanted to slam his drunk arse so bad but my better half talked me out of it.

Cool thing: We haven't lost to Fla. since! Geaux Tigers!

In 2005, my girlfriend and I flew from Miami for two games. LSU went 11-2 and she threw up before both of them. The TN game, under those circumstances, was the worst game Ive ever been to regardless.

At least that was the year they destroyed UM 40-3.
