Florida, 1989. Game tied, time runs out as Shane Matthews throws the ball out of bounds. The ref said the ball crossed the out-of-bounds line with one second left. He adds a second, Fla kicks a field goal and wins.

Every one is upset and leaves the stadium. I am walking into what used to be called Parking Lot 2S. As I'm walking by a car that is trying to leave the parking lot, this guy comes walking by yelling and carrying on about LSU losing the game and he kicks the car. I wasn't paying attention and kept walking. Well the guy in the car thought I kicked his car. He jumps out, bull rushes me from behind doing about 40 mph, rolls me over and ends up sitting on my stomach and starts hitting me in the face.

After all was said and done, this case of mistaken identity, I had multiple contusions on my face, rotator cuff syndrom from being rolled over on the ground, busted up knees, and pretty bad case of PTSD. And the someone claiming to be a police officer threatened to arrest me after they got the guy off of me and I was able to pop him in the face.

The worst experience I had on gameday has to be the Miami game in '88. Not only did we literally had a hurricane in the stadium and on the field but our flask was discovered on the way into stadium and that friend was left outside. Sucked all the way around, horrendous game, poor results, wet, miserable, cold, and no alcohol.

This and my girlfriend at the time was on the rag.

Bama 1979. Cold and rained the whole game. Umbrellas were allowed in TS at the time, it was fricking rain and waterfalls off peeps umbrellas, just awful

I remember this one. A quick moving strong cold front came in that night. Blew into TS and the temp dropped something like 20 degrees in one hour. Rained on us steady. After a day of drinking heavily that took all the remaining starch out of me. Took my date back to the frat house and tried to warm up, no party left in either of us. Watched SNL. Needless to say, the sex was not made that night.

The Florida game in '09. It had rained the night before, most of the grass was still saturated with water. There was mud all over the place.

It was super crowded. You couldn't walk down the hill. It was literally a stand still until the band came down.

And then we lost the damn game on top of that.

I was at the ND game with my dad, and we we were freezing our arse off. It's like they brought that shitty weather with them.

This is the winner so far...First getting screwed over by the refs, then getting randomly pummeled due to mistaken identity.

Thanks for sharing.

My best experience would probably be SCAR 07 when Matt Flynn flipped the ball over his head to Colt David

No problem. I've always wondered what happened to everyone else involved in the incident. The guy whose car got kicked, the guy who actually kicked the car (someone id'd him and they dropped me and started chasing him), and the perspective of anyone else who may have seen this happen. Unfortunately, I was by myself when it happened because my wife was ill and didn't attend the game. My parents were in the stadium, but in a different section. By the time they arrived all they saw was me sitting at the car cut up and bleeding.

I believe I have attended all the games mentioned so far and while the miami rain game was the worst game day experience in tiger stadium in my opinion, the overall worst experience was at college station in '91, curley's first season.

We sat on the first row on the east side 10 yards south of the south end bound line. The stadium was a horseshoe with a running track around the field. The view was terrible but by far the worst part was the heat. Kick off was at noon in early september and we were facing the sun plus it waas radiating off the track surface. People were passing out everywhere. My wife and I left in the second quarter and were passing Beaumont by the time it ended. Earliest I've ever left a game.

2010 Capital One Bowl was one of the worst sporting events I've ever attended. And I really didn't even care that we had lost afterwards. The quality of the game was just so shitty the Penn State fans I met didn't really care either.

All would involve getting too drunk, but the worst was the 2001 Sugar Bowl vs Illinois. Got so drunk passed out in the car and missed the entire game. Woke up around when the game started and stumbled around N.O. lost in a drunken stupor trying to find the dome (without my ticket) in freezing rain. Really bad night, at least we won. lol.

Florida 2000. We stayed up all night drinking at, what was then, the Purple Porpoise. Our seats were in the southeast endzone. The afternoon sun and the 9-41 annihilation drained what little life we had left in us.

Shaun Alexander.

He, McFadden, and Jones still haunt my dreams from that game and Ark 07.
