I actually agree with the OP's top ten

the worst part is we arent even interviewing reggie theus but instead the former reggie theus. how bad does that guy have to suck if reggie theus didnt even want to be him.
I think the rule is ridiculous. I do think there are racist owners still (totally opinion), but making them interview minority candidates does nothing. After the interviews they are still racist and still won't hire the minority coach.

The rule needs to go.

This was not Miles first game, but yes that Tenn game was awful. It was also my first game in Tiger Stadium. One play for me would be the PP7 non-interception. Any play from the 50 burger Florida put on us could apply too. I try to forget that game even happened.

We must be around the same age because these were my three exactly. My first game in Tiger Stadium was the Florida game in '93 (Fla 58-3).

The worst I ever felt after a game was the Tenn. game after Katrina.

The PP7 non-interception stuck with me for weeks. I would say this was the worst single play I can remember.

Chad Jones is my second favorite Tiger of all time behind Kevin Faulk and Laron Landry is also very high on the list, but Ryan Clark was a better safety than they were. I'm too young to know many before them.

Obviously you haven't seen McCarrons chest tat.....
Matt Flynn was definitely cocky after he became the starter. Him and his friends came to a restaurant I worked at all the time and he was an arse. Before he was a starter he was nice though. At that point he was just part of Andrew Whitworth's entourage.
The Tennessee game after Katrina was by far the worst experience for a gameday. My little brother came to stay with me after the hurricane and he was 15 at the time. I let him have a tall boy, but didn't want to get him drunk. My dumbass roomate fed him shots of vodka right outside of the stadium without my knowledge. We had to go in through separate gates and by the time I caught up with him he was trashed. We stayed through the middle of the second quarter and then I took his drunk arse home. Needless to say, the second half meltdown and my puking 15 year old brother made for a terrible terrible day.
Kevin Faulk. Not only for what he did on the field, but his role in bringing the program back to its current status.
Football: Kevin Faulk; began the resurrection of LSU football

Basketball: Garret Temple; him shutting down JJ Reddick to get to the Final Four was fantastic and he's a hometown guy

Baseball: Wally Pontiff; went to the same high school he did and was a great example of how student athletes should carry themselves
I used to tutor athletes and believe it or not the football players were the ones that gave me the least trouble. They may not be able to speak proper English, but they aren't as stupid as most people think....and they also aren't taking the hardest classes.
That was the third year I remember being a Tiger fan. The Poulan Weedeater Bowl was the bigtime then.
O- Kevin Faulk
D- Chad Jones
ST- Eddie Kennison
2002-2009 (Undergrad and grad school):
53-19 (.7361)
2 National Championships with student tickets
The Hat- 34
The bell- 14
Of course Cuban picked Oregon. He's a businessman and he has his Nike contract to think about.
If Corso and Lou Holtz pick LSU its the kiss of death!
Even if A&M leaves the Big 12, I seriously doubt it will happen that quickly. If they do break from the conference that quickly though, I'd imagine Towson would get the ax.
The last thing I read was that according to Alleva, the players are still allowed to practice with the team, etc.

re: Question for LSU fans?

I know a lot of people say there isn't a real rivalry with Arkansas, but since I began LSU it has gotten to become a fun one. I vote to keep Arkansas in that slot for now. We need a few years to punish them for the heartbreakers we've lost recently.
Covington
LSU- The Chimes

Los Angeles
LSU- Mr. Pockets

Harahan
LSU- Fox and Hound
South Carolina- Columbia is the closest thing to Baton Rouge I've seen so far and since they are in the East we don't play them that often.
I've seen more than one fight in Tigerland that involved football players and nothing came of it. Although this appears a little more severe and the sheer number of players there make it more noticeable, I think this is being blown WAY out of proportion.

re: Saints' Bars in Los Angeles?

I used to live in the Silver Lake/Los Feliz area and Mr. Pockets is quite a hike from there. We used to watch the Saints games at The Public House on Vermont Ave. in Los Feliz. Pretty cool place and they have 50+ beers on tap. Decent Saints following when we were there. Its not the cheapest place, but there aren't many cheap places to drink in LA period.
I'm sure it's been brought up before, but I haven't seen it. What are the chances that suspensions are mandated by Joe Alleva or even the President of the University? I think even if CLM doesn't want to suspend the AD or President will force his hand due to all the bad publicity that has already come out over this thing. After tOSU and Miami, people's perception is that college football is out of control and unfortunately for our players it's going to lead to heavy-handed consequences as a PR move.
Halloween run. At least 7-8 missed/broken tackles at the end of a #1 vs. #2 matchup. Chad Jones is in my top 3 favorite LSU player's of all time, but Billy Cannon wins hands down.

I would take the Eddie Kennison return as second, btw.

re: Miami accusations against us

I had multiple classes with D. Bowe and I can believe the "grades were an issue" story. He was borderline retarded.

Not only did he turn out to be a great receiver, but he also brought Ali Highsmith with him, who was a Miami commit initially but didn't qualify academically and went the JUCO route.

The purple pants are hideous and they are cursed. Purple pants= losses and should be retired forever.

re: The LSU/Florida rivalry

I think especially in my age bracket (25-30) Florida is seen as a huge rival. Between the beatings they gave us when I was a kid and the great games over the past decade, I look forward to the Florida game and the Bama game the most every year.
