Omaha can have some of this Lafayette rain. Good Lord it won't stop.

The entire state. Not just laffy. Most summers we are damn near under water. I hate it! But…it’s home! I’m pushing 60. Leaving enters my mind very frequently- and the chief reason is rain n hurricanes. It sucks man

Need Arkansas to go three innings and then weather delay until tomorrow
It just doesn’t appear the storms are lining up and organizing north of Omaha like it did yesterday at this time.

Same in Lake Charles.

There's showers right over the city at 7:30pm. That alone should cause an 1-2 hour delay.

The Charles Schwab Field public service message from the local weather guy last night called for a 20% chance of rain around the 7-inning stretch. Instead, the game was postponed after 3 innings.

Looks like any rain would have to come from the southwest this time.

They better start the game tonight on time no matter what the future forecast looks like.

Those storms fired up and moved through much more quickly/earlier than expected. Today was supposed to be the rainout but we were able to play this morning bc that line moved through much faster than expected.

Need this game to go into extras so they start this one just a bit later and then they get about 3-4 innings in before calling it

The one LSU hammered.
I'm not sure "hammered" is the word. 1 ball left the infield.

After the storms today and tomorrow, its supposed to really heat up in Omaha for the weekend series. NWS calling for peak heat index values up to 110°. Gonna feel like home

Looking at live cam from Children's Hospital, across highway from Schwab field, no rain, no storm, no lightning so far. Looks like players are out, people are filing in.

2009 game 2 of the championship series was insufferable. It had rained so game was delayed. The air after it stopped was nasty and humid.

the storms aren't coming from a line that I can see . its just going to pop-up according too the weather

Saturday looks to be 101 with 30 mph wind. That will be interesting.
