Speaking of young, do we think he signs or comes?

With Pineda signing I go back to my wish that we had gone after Amani Larry from UNO (going to Miss St).

I think Misiorowski shouldn't accept a penny under $2MM. Take up any pool money the Brewers may want to spend elsewhere.
Sidenote, I like the JUCO catcher the Brewers drafted not far before Neal.

Mason Neville, Arkansas commit picked by the Reds in the 18th. He was committed to Jay at Arizona and there was some thought early on he would flip to us.

Arkansas second highest prospect off the board to the Reds.
Yea I think the difference here is people freak out when teams take a flyer at 15-20 because there are no rounds 30-50 anymore.

How much of a difference is being a senior taken in the top 5 rounds vs a jr taken late in the draft?
What the point where it’s worth coming back for one more season?

So is the most they can offer Neal $150k?

They can offer him more than that, but only $125k won't count against their bonus pool.

They can offer as much as they have extra from the first 10 rounds of the pool money. Plus they can go 5% over there pool cost with just a small penalty they would have to pay.

It can mean something as little as 5k as a senior or more than 125k as a junior.

Assuming they sign him, Yankees with a late round steal with Sebastian Keane from Northeastern.

Brewers just picked the pitcher committed to State that throws in the 90s right and left handed. Seems like they just chunking up hail marys and seeing if anything will work at this point.

Brewers just drafted the switch pitcher that's committed to Mississippi State and said he's going to school.
They may have punted on the draft a few picks ago. One thing to consider is that there just aren't as many slots in the minors anymore and if a team is comfortable with their minor league system they may not even try to sign 20 guys out of the draft.

If that's the case they should shave a few more rounds off of the draft next season

Have the brewers ever gone over the cap?
