That’s why I’m advocating drastically culling the farm system. I don’t even like the principle of 18-21 year olds skipping education to start the minors. Two affiliates per team max.
WTF does a college education have anything to do with playing baseball?

Young, Guidry, Noot at SS?
Why do people keep referencing Noot as an infielder?

Why? Because you want LSU to be better at baseball? That's not a good reason

Pineda is signing, per Leah

Has this dude always been this much of a bitch? Seems like he has a hard on for LSU over the last couple of months.

There's this guy named Thompson too you know who started at SS the last couple seasons.
Dont know why people think there's no way he cant win that job. He ended last season on a pretty good run at SS.

Damn.
Really thought he was our starting SS next year. I don't know my arse from a hole in the wall when it comes to the MLB draft

Even when he talked about our class bringing in 6 Top 100 PG kids he couldnt help himself to talk about "A&M is bringing in every signee...and should be really really good again with returning players" all in the same tweet
A&M didnt even have a single Top 100 commit, why is that in the same tweet as LSU bringing in 6 Top 100 players

Why?
Because kids that young don’t need to be thrown so much money and take spots from older guys anyway.
Professional sports should be 22 and older with most in their late 20s and 30s. You know, responsible adults with developed prefrontal cortexes.

I think if we add an infielder it's going to be from the HS ranks. Unless we find a JUCO guy I'm not aware of yet.

He’s listed as a pitcher and infielder. Player’s can be both, lots of college teams have done it in the past.

Noot really does look like Dylan Crews brother.
Posted on 7/19/22 at 2:52 pm to ProjectP2294
Josh day looks like he is also gonna sign
Posted on 7/19/22 at 2:53 pm to CatfishJohn
Carter Young was the more natural SS just because Pineda had played 2nd.
Will give Guidry and immediate chance to start at 2B

So to summarize your viewpoints, kids should be forced to go to college for 4 years for baseball, 18-21 year olds shouldnt be paid more than 22+ year olds and the entire minor league baseball system needs to be brought down.
Good luck with that

Why? Is there some inherent difference between a 21 year old getting money and a 22 year old?

Well, it would also be nice if athletes didn't hit their athletic primes at 24-25. But since they don't hit their primes in their late 20s to early 30s, this idea of yours is ignorant. Human physiology is a bitch sometimes
