I'd be surprised if Michael Reed is back next year.

The Rays got a steal at pick 692. SR OF Willie Argo from Illinois. I'm pretty sure that's the guy that his 3 jacks in his collegiate debut at Alex Box a few years ago.

LaMarche went to Long Beach St out of high school but never pitched there and missed 2010 and 2011 due to TJ surgery, then only saw limited innings this year. He has a mid 90s fastball but struggles with command and secondary pitches. He could really develop under Dunn.

I can all but guarantee Mason will be back now that he has fallen this much. before the draft i talked to him and he said if he went in the 10-15 range he was probably gone, but the more time goes by without him being drafted tells me he's likely coming back.
so...
so...

You are correct. It was so late it basically doesn't matter.
Round 26 starting now, nothing new.

I'm surprised Katz and Rhymes haven't gone yet... I thought for sure they'd go before the 20's. I guess that's a good thing for next years team though.

I kind of feel bad for Rhymes and Katz but I am glad they are coming back.

It can't be that big of a surprise to Rhymes. It's going to be nice having he and Katz back next year to go with Bergman

I had no idea the new draft rules would change the draft so much. I mean, wow.
Bregman is still available? After being projected in 4th round. Has to be because he wont sign. Makes me think teams will start drafting only players they can sign.
Also means college baseball is about to get crazy competitive and exciting with more kids going to school

After reading his reply in interview I would rate him about 80% to come to LSU because the Rangers Drafted him thinking they can convince him to pitch. 100 mph fastball is like cocaine to MLB but from what I hear he doesn't like waiting for a turn to pitch he wants to play everyday. It depends on how much the Rangers think they gamble hoping to change his mind but I would bet they are wasting their time.
LSU will be happy to play him everyday and pitch occasionally and he will be OK waiting 3 yrs to try again. Certainly up in the air but I am Betting LSU.

A team called him in the 2nd round and he pretty much told them not to bother he was coming to LSU. If he had given an indication he would sign, they would have snapped him up by now.
