Whoever draws Campbell as their #2 seed will be pissed. That’s a scary team. Probably should have hosted over Indiana State, but geography was working against them.

Probably South Carolina, since presumably they were the #15 or #16 seed chosen, so the committee will give them a strong #2 seed and Campbell is local.

Texas A&M seems headed to Stillwater, unless the committee wants to throw a curveball.

Let’s see how many sec teams come out of these regionals.

If that’s the case, we are the 5, matched with Miami

I would love this outcome.

I’m so excited to have non SEC affiliated umpires
if baseball is anything like softball regionals, don't get too excited yet. The softball Regional at Tuscaloosa last weekend had 2 SEC umpires out of the 6, plus the Washington vs ULL super had a SEC umpire from Baton Rouge.

Just can't get away from the horrible SEC umpires in both baseball and softball.

Really feel like UofSC will not make it out of theirs. A&M will replace them most likely depending on their draw. They are a tough out for a 2 seed.

Probably, which is fine. But I could see 4 just looking at the strength of the sec

SEC with half of the host sites.

record number. Previous record was the SEC with 7 host sites.

Crazy competitive conference when the last 2 national champs can’t even qualify for the conference tournament.

I’m a little shocked with Lemonis. He kinda was on a roll for a while leading up the the NC. It was a given Bianco was gonna coast once he finally won one. Lemonis might be gone after next season.

I’m shocked they ended up giving sec 8 sites. Just goes to show how much better the sec is than the rest of the country.

I’m VERY glad they didn’t penalize South Carolina for being in the SEC. It felt very committee-like to put them as a 2 seed to not give 50% of hosts to the SEC.

They did the right thing.

I wish they would mismatch the SEC teams for supers, too. Set a scenario where all 8 Omaha teams could be from the SEC. I know that will not happen, and it would be bad for TV outside of the SEC, but I'd still really like to see how it would play out.

They got Campbell and Indiana St. wrong. ISU doesn’t deserve to be a host.

Let’s put it this way - at least that’s the conversation instead of (by most predictions) them both hosting over South Carolina. That would’ve been objective robbery.

All an effort to “grow the sport nationally.”

South Carolina has won 4 games since May 1 and are 39-19. It’s not hard to argue against them.
