I saw him beaten 3 times tonight for about 35-40 yards. He isn't Nnamdi Asomugah. Those kinds of numbers are more than acceptable. He also had some great coverage throughout the game, prevented big plays including a pass in the end zone, and was able to tackle guys on bubble screens unlike the other corners.

Yea, geauxbob conviently jumps in and gets SFP's back everytime a retarded statement jumps out of his mouth. Patrick Peterson was the MVP of the game tonight. I would say cutrera but according to SFP he's more suited for playing on ULL's team than LSU's.

yeah im with you, PP and cutrera were it and perry riley had a few good plays mixed in... other than that the defense was shite....PP does not need a thread started about his abilities.

The guys who looked good tonight were Peterson, Nevis, Cutrera, Kelvin Sheppard, and at times, Perry Riley.

Al Woods was good for a quarter, then didn't do much. I am blaming it on conditioning. I didn't see a single important play from Chad Jones all game.

Other than Hawkins, I didn't think any of our players were actually that bad by themselves. I blame a lot of it on John Chavis's schemes.

It's the same way on offense.

Exactly! You think SFP would sit our best corner after giving up a few plays in a soft zone? IN man coverage he was unstopable! Alot of the tackles he made it was not because he got beat but he was tackling someone else's man who got beat. Like that running back dump off pass, he was the only man who could catch that guy and i'm damn sure bet nobody else would have.

GeauxLSUGeaux, shouldn't you be out celebrating with your PIMP friends and getting some free liquour for them?

The fact remains that LSU's defense has always played better in man coverage. Has nothing to do with SFP. It's a fact.

We play zone and get eaten up. Pelini started playing in 2007 when our defense suffered. When he switched it back to man 2 man (SECCG and BCSCG) our defense shut the other teams down for the most part.

If you have athletes, you need to use them appropriately. Furthermore, if we really wanted to run a zone, Cooper was the wrong DB coach to get. He's a man coverage coach and DC (when he was a DC). He's coaching them up to be man corners and safeties and it shows.

Locker and Polk were the X-factors for UW. Their speed surprised LSU off the bat and they got momentum. LSU honestly just looked shell shocked early from the emotion of UW.

Are you posing this question, seriously?

Patrick Peterson will be a top ten pick in the NFL draft if were to declare after this season. What game were you watching? He was the ONLY Tiger defensive player to play his arse off the entire game. Made a couple of TD saving tackles by running across the field to support Chris Hawkins' pathetic no-run defense playing butt.
