Good to see that some people still value the TEAM aspect of sports
Granted, I’ve never been in the position to make millions of dollars playing football so my opinion is unpopular and worthless, but college and NFL football is infested with selfish, greedy individuals who usually put themselves first instead of the team..
This is refreshing

Some of you guys are ridiculous.
I wonder how bad any of you will feel if DW suffers an injury during this meaningless bowl game.
Greedy made the smart decision.
DW made a decision that is popular with the fans, and hopefully he comes out of this meaningless game unscathed and still a top 10 pick.
I love both players. Hope they both go top 5

Many here think we are selfish for asking the players like Devin to play in this bowl game and loyalty to the team is noting compared to risking their future earning potential.
I think there is a balance. The players should be protected with a catastrophic injury policy paid for by the bowls with the university carrying the lower limits (up to 1 million). The bowl policy would go from 1 million to 10.
Greedy has a logically point but he is wanting to make big money playing a game that comes with high risk of injury. There is no promise he won't hurt himself in the combines or on pro day either.

I said yesterday I'd bet my bottom dollar he'd play. Dude has too much character and competitiveness not to play in that game even though he knows he'll go high in the draft.

Sure, but it's all about risk/reward for the individual players and their individual situation. White made what he thinks is the best decision for himself, as did Greedy.
The only reason we hate one decision and love the next is because we're selfish as fans. It's that simple.
