Murphy has been one of our best special teams guys and he was going to see more carries this year, probably. Hopefully he can get the extra year of eligibility.

The hit came above his chest when he was airnorne so it did not seem to be knee at first.

It wasnt the hit that did it. It was the way he landed when he came down after hurdling the first defender.

Though I don't wish harm to anyone person, this has almost zero impact on our football team. He hasn't been any better than 3rd team RB for our team and was currently 4th behind Trindon.

As much as I hate to say it, he was likely never going to do much for us at the RB position.

So, I'm sad for the guy, but don't really think this hurts our team at all.

He was special on special teams play. Very important to the team.

Get well and be strong Richard.

Not sure what is wrong with him but he just came into the restaurant I'm at with a wrap and brace on his lower leg and knee.

That sucks....but, he can get a medical redshirt, and come out of the blocks next season with a full head of steam.

Very bad news. Hope he recovers well for next season. Stevan Ridley should take over the few carries he gets now.

Hope Murph has a speedy recovery. We'll miss him on special teams indeed.

I wonder if Ford's redshirt gets pulled now.

Hopefully he has a speedy recovery when he went to leap over that defender and i saw the other guy coming in to lower the boom, i knew something bad was going to happen. Word of the wise to young runners just lower your shoulder frick all that jumping over people.

You could tell how well-liked he is by the teammates that surrounded him after he went down. Scott was one of the first people to go by his side. You have to feel for anyone in that position, especially since it requires so much work and dedication. Good luck RM
