That's a ridiculous statement. And that mindset is why we haven't been a national title contender in 7 years. In today's football world the goal should be to score 30 a game. Any game you don't score 30 and lose your offense is at least partially to blame.

Just admit Franks ran over us unexpectedly. The defense did not play up to par. We had zero sacks in that game. No pressure whatsoever

He was 42 yards rushing and 161 yards throwing.

We gave up 3 drives

The offense scored 19

Admit that’s not enough points short of an Amazing defensive performance.

“Good enough” makes me thing we didn’t get help in the teens.

No they showed up. They were just beaten. No shame in admitting that.

Yeah, I didn't expect the offense to take off with the OC change and new faces. But that's on the head coach. And this team lost in the same ways this head coach has lost.

Mentality of the players is on the head coach. Not putting games away, playing scared, is on the head coach. Not using the wrs in creative ways until the bowl game, is on the head coach.

We will never be a championship team as long as we consider 19 points good enough from our offense

NO IT SHOULD NOT. We're pretty well into the 21st century in case you don't realize it. Do you see the elite offenses? Do you see HOW they are operating? Did you bother to watch Clemson's Offense? And Mullen will score more than 19 on LSU EVERY season, podnuh (this is the very experienced Mullen too). The Saban of this time is not the same as the scaredy-cat Saban from 2002. It is a whole new ball now homie; you just don't have a clue. Dinosaurs will be dinosaurs I reckon. There's just no changing for you and Ensminger and your max protection BS.

Ensminger's predictable, EASY TO DEFEND-OFFENSE played right into their hands. Our defense was on the field way too many snaps. Again, you and Ensminger just "don't get it." You guys are stuck in a time warp with Biff on your tails.

Defense was on the field too much. They couldn't stop them. Not Slinger's fault.

So, you don't think more first downs by the LSU offense might keep the LSU defense off the field?

Time of possession was even in the FL game. Offense played just as mush as the defense. Maybe if the D would get off the field faster if we had pressure on the QB. Zero sacks that game. Defense was subpar in that game considering how they performed mostly throughout the season.

Often times, LSU is going to have to score upper 20s to mid 30s to have a good solid chance against the Floridas and Sabamas and Texas A&Ms and possibly the Auburns. "Slinger" is not the answer for LSU's offense. He will never ever never ever coordinate an offense that can yield those points against those defenses never ever. Florida and Sabama and Texas A&M are going to score upper 20s to lower 30s EVERY season on LSU. You must find a way to accept this.

I wonder what you are basing that statement on since we've only beaten Florida twice with 19 or less points since 94-95(and I didn't feel like going back further)

37th ranked offense in the country is nothing to brag about. We've had years when we have done better than the 32.5 ppg that we had this year, such as BOTH 2011 and 2013 when we were in the 35 ppg range. To be fair, we had much more talent on offense in 2013. 2015 and 2009 offenses were right there also at 32.8 and 32.3 ppg also. Other than that it was one of our historically better offenses but we need to see a great deal of improvement in 2019

That seems to be quite the pattern with an Ensminger-ran offense. Eight quarters and counting.....
