Typing as I listen. Any corrections please let me know!

-Today is competition Tuesday big day in Baton Rouge!

-Announcement of Tamara Davis as Director of Player Relations. She takes care of the players she's the team mom. Involved in recruiting and players parents.

-Scrimmage this past Saturday was great. Not having the spring last year really hurt. Showed a Death Valley video on Friday night of what it means to be a Tiger. Lots of coaches seeing the field for the first time as well

-Mostly a teaching practice but they had a small scrimmage at the end

-Defensive line was the aggressor during the scrimmage. Andre Carter is a maniac on the sidelines. Lots of technical expertise. He and O work hand in hand.

-Thursday the offense had 16 explosive plays. Defense had their pride hurt so it's a back and forth and they're trying to even it out

-Meanness nastiness and toughness this year from the defense that he didn't see last year. Starting with the front. Impressed with Bugg Strong the JC transfer and Damone Clark has really improved.

-6 negative runs and 6 sacks during the scrimmage

-Likes the way that Peetz operates and is organized. Yep that's the offense and that's how it's supposed to look. More more diverse routes in the run game.

-4 outstanding QB's. Max taking the 1st reps. Myles is coming along. TJ doing well. Watch out for Nuss, he can make plays with feet and cannon for an arm.

-Speaking on early enrollees and how big it is for them to have this spring. 14 football schools, 4th quarter conditioning with Moffit, 15 spring practices, 10 football schools later and June with Moffit is like a season.

-Mike Jones Jr isn't on campus but is working out on his own.

-Daronte and Jake are keeping it professional for now. Not hiding any playbook yet. Today putting in the third down package.

-Putting in the cheetah with the best 4 rushers. Had a good one last year should be dominant this year

-Have to be better on third down offense this year. Were terrible last year.

-Emery is gold jersey and coming back from shoulder surgery. Doing everything that we ask him to do. Work on catching the ball in the flat over his left shoulder. Corren Norman had 39 carries.

-During the scrimmage didn't have any bodies to play the RB position. WR's took a vote and Kirklin and Palmer both played RB and ran the toss sweep

-Jontre is the swiss army knife and had the longest run of the scrimmage.

-Lots of development with Anthony Bradford. He has all the physical tools. Just needs to learn to put it all together. Get in great shape is the main goal. Then we press the tempo

-Last weekend LSU coach wearing McNeese jacket throwing up the pitch forks.

Not sure what's so funny

Clark was a beast in 2019 under Aranda

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if Baker can get him back to that level of play.

The biggest difference was the level of aggressiveness. He played timid and afraid to make a mistake last year.

He also had absolutely no ability to get off blocks. Hopefully they can correct that, but not sure how.

Remember when he said last year’s defense was going to be better than anything Aranda put on the field? I take all these comments with a grain of salt.
