Put Kirklin in and run Wildcat

Will probably be a better option

If Nuss really doesn't play to keep his RS, then it will be one of these two.

This is a silly suggestion & is not going to happen. IDK why people keep acting like putting a WR at QB is better than two QB's on the roster. (Yes I understand Jontre was a good qb in high school, but that was in 2016.)

why would he not play? the redshirt discussion has already happened after the bama game. he doesn't care about redshirting in 2021.

David Palmer almost beat our arse in the pigs fly game. They put him in in the second half IIRC and almost came back to beat us. It would be funny if Jantre played and balled out. Fans would scream why hasn't he been playing QB all year.

If this was true, then he would have played against A&M. They let him play against Arkansas after the Bama game, but then decided that he will redshirt and Max would start against A&M.

O'Dowd is about to do what Russell Shepard never accomplished at LSU!

The next time the wildcat is successful will be the first time it's been successful

I'm hoping this was an attempt at sarcasm/humor, but Faulk is the dual-threat. O'Dowd is pro-style

Big difference now being Max is not an option. Nuss has to play. Look for smash mouth football and throw it when you have to.

I don't believe this. LSU could be looking at the second coming of Matt Mauck, or Matt Damon...er, Matt Flynn. O'Dowd is fixing to SHINE in Reliant, Jan.4.

Kind of, but this is totally different. Jontre is 100% a wr, he's never even been in the QB room at LSU.

Tannehill competed for the QB job every year at A&M & played WR his first few yrs cause he was 2nd or 3rd on the QB depth chart. It was more of a Taysom Hill situation, where he was too good of an athlete to sit on the side lines so they let him catch the ball. Finally got more playing time at QB in 2010 & got the starting job in 2011.

It was neither. My reference was to the fact that O'Dowd could actually throw a pass...in a game...in an LSU uniform. What didn't you understand about that?

Hester said this am. That he was at a camp last year with Kirklin. Said there were no qb’s present, kirklin threw “400”passé all on a dime. So he said play him in bowl.
