The 4 LSU students and Elvis don't make the cut

They did when the student section was at half court and the team wasn't winless in conference play. Plus, the student section was pretty much full on Saturday.

The court has no effect on LSU getting their asses kicked in the SEC. I am glad Johnny Jones is our coach but I hope this doesn't have the same results of some of Trent's old teams..ie. 2-16 or 4-14 in SEC play.
I love basketball but damn I don't want to wait until I am 65 years old to see the Tigers make the dance again. By the way, that is 20 years away on my age.

Whats the difference in seating between Duke and LSU. It always looks like LSU has the same amount of fans as my high school team usually has. Duke looks like they cant put another person in the arena but what it actually is, is the Pmac is so much bigger and just doesn't have the flair that a Duke game does. Just looks like a much better time at a Duke basketball game.

our student section is behind the goal. Duke's is on the side by mid court

Either I was hallucinating, or there was a good amount on Saturday.

Duke has a whole lot more students at their basketball games. it's not just an allusion caused by their arena being smaller. yes, their arena is smaller, but they have students that camp out for every game. through some basic googling, it says Duke's student section is 1200 and overall capacity of Cameron is around 9500. the PMAC holds just over 14000, and I can't imagine the student section being much, if any, bigger than Cameron, and it's never full even when we're good and hasn't been since the Shaq days

Of course it doesn't, but that's not the topic at hand. With that line of thinking, we would just let all of our facilities go to shite.

Actually I've seen several duke games where it isn't full, but the empty seats are always in the corner where they are hard to spot. Also, students usually only camp out for the big rivalry games (UNC and NCST)

Watching the NC State game, I was pretty amazed how bad our arena is in comparison.

The only makeover that needs to happen is the program. Until then, turn your brightness up on your TV.

Not terrible for the semester not being in session yet.

Do college basketball arenas have suites? Football yes, but college basketball?
And this topic is NOT a frivolous topic. The LSU brand that we're trying to convey is not only the product on the field or floor (although that's clearly most important), but it's the entire game experience. And a big part of that is the facilities and the way they look, both live and on TV. Uniforms matter too, we don't want to look cheesy like Oregon or too stale and old. Keep it fresh. All of it has a bearing on the impression we make and on our likeability.
I've been screaming for a football uniform freshening for years. Keep the tradition, but clean up the helmet by using the Geaux font and using another tiger design (not Toonces, but something more stylized). Or better yet, get rid of the tiger head and use the Tiger eye, like the one at midfield. That would kick arse.
