From The Athletic: Ed Orgeron says the former 5-star phenom Arik Gilbert, who left LSU in December and committed to Florida but it didn't work out, did visit LSU again and they had a “good meeting.” “No decision has been made. It's still up in the air, but it was a very positive day when he came."

Might be the strangest journey of an almost sophomore, that I have ever seen.

It’s always strange when you are dealing with people a little off key.

Arik baw, you literally only need to spend the next 21 months in Baton Rouge and shite you can go home for 4 or 5 of those. Then you can frick off to the NFL.

Do it.

I was wondering if there was an update,

Will know in about 6 weeks where he will be. He can show up and take some Intersession courses, some summer courses and set up a easy fall for him.

These are 18, 19, 20 year olds. I’m surprised there isn’t more of this type of instability and uncertainty amongst these young men than there is.

It really is pathetic how 5 little stars next to a kids name can alter peoples’ judgement.

If O is willing to forgive and forget that’s fine, but I’m not sure I want him to be honest, if the off the field negatives outweigh the on the field positives.

Once in a generation player blah blah. Let it go and let him go elsewhere. Our DB’s were fricking tweeting him about seeing him on the field.

He didn't take some time off to get his mind right. He quit and went to a rival. Move on.

You just turn the microphone down to where he can't be heard being off-key. You just get his lips moving.
