Pretty much all the pieces are in place with our program except at QB. We are going to struggle there and that's why, and that alone, is why we will win 7-8 games this year.

I don't hate O. And I am willing to give him a Mulligan this year as long as:

1. He lands a top notch QB or 2 in this class.
2. We see significant progress with our Offense scheme and we see the QB position progress throughout the year.

Unlike most here, I have a lot of faith in Ensminger. But if the 2 things above don't happen, count me in as wanting O gone.

He would have to compete for the west, beat bama and finish in the top 10. Then have a top 5 recruiting class.
I don’t even think I’m putting as much pressure as he deserves.
What I expect is 7-5, 3rd in the West and an outback bowl. Lowering my expectations leaves room for being excited with anything better.

It's not a question of why we fired Miles, it's a question of why the frick did we hire O.
just remember what Alleva said in the introductory PC for Orgeron's hire...he said he wanted continuity.

if that's what he wanted, then that's what he got in 2017.

So basically, O has to be as good as Miles’ average? Why did we fire Les?

My gosh..... the stupid people.

I agree, I almost peed myself even entertaining the idea that 0 will ever win anything of substance. Glad to see you're finally coming around.

Be competitive if a young QB shows growth. Win 10 games (including bowl)
so 9-3 regular season (lets assume losses to Bama, UGA, and Auburn). That's nowhere close to winning the West. You're ok with that? That's where Les was his last 3-4 years.

First off, I don’t hate Ed Orgeron, I don’t know him. I don’t think he has the skill as a HC to lead LSU (or any program) to what I’ll call contender status.

I also do not care for rigid bench marks like X # or wins this year or win the SEC W this year. What I’d need to see is the program headed in the right direction and that includes the behind the scenes stuff aka the process. When that is going well then the wins will follow. So far what I’ve seen from O is not encouraging. His first most important decision was his OC hire and he blew it, His hires have overall been poor to underwhelming. Recruiting last year was also underwhelming. Yes it’s nice he filled depth on the line but there’s a lot of lower ranked players and he totally whiffed at QB, RB and CB, the later due to poor roster management. A better than expected season can only gloss over that

This is reasonable. That's a tall order, but it's what he signed up for.

I'm not an "O hater", but we need to handle up on Southeastern, La Tech, and Rice.

We need to beat and show we are on a different plain than...Miami, Florida, Miss St., Ole Miss, Tx A&M, and Arkansas.

We need to win 1 out of..... UGA, AU, and Bama

Our defense is loaded we know, but we have to find a way to comfortably beat the people we're supposed to. Finish agaisnt the next level, and find a way to be at the top.

That to me isn't unreasonable expectations.

Are you sure? Don't put too much pressure on your boy. Remember, Troy is a really good team. Maybe we should just focus on beating Miss St. this season and give O three more years.

I don't hate Coach O but it will still take 10 wins for me to stay on the train. That's the job and he got it.

I never said any of those things. You are letting your hatred completely unravel you. People like you are very thin skinned. It was only a matter of time before your facade fell apart.

10+ wins a year, SEC West contention annually, beat Bana occasionally.

I'm nowhere near as thin skinned as the O sycophants who go into hysterics when someone dares to call his competency into question.
