I think most of understand and actually like that we are a pass first team.
The problem is that we can’t run the ball against Nicholls
At some point in the season we will have to be able to ground out tough yards in the ground and control the clock. And this team looks incapable of doing that.
Nobody wants 50/50 run pass ration. Just to be able to run effectively when we do it.

Just like last year. He’s going to HAVE to be. I think he will. He’s already shown he can sling it and he’ll only get better with more snaps.
Return game and offense are about the only complimentary aspects of the game right now and we can’t run the ball well.

BK should study Saints game film from nearly all the Brees era.
They used this tactic to perfection. That’s the offense we have right now.

For me Nuss just needs a little more touch on his deep ball and use his legs more to keep the defense honest. Other than that he’s been far from the problem. IMO our defense and the run game are our two biggest obstacles.
