He’s got to have at least one game where he gets first team reps and starts.

Did you not see Joe Burrow at the beginning of this season when he was getting settled in after missing most of camp?
Not saying Nuss is Joe Burrow but he has a lot of the same skills. I truly believe he just needs game time reps to iron out his faults.

When 90% of JD’s throws were outs, sit downs and comebacks and only when they were pretty wide open, of course his turnover rate will be low. I don’t believe in throwing caution to the wind either, but you need someone in between Nussmeier’s gunslinging and JD’s risk averse approach.

You should watch the NDSU Vs Incarnate word game where Scott threw an INT to lose the game. That’s Nuss. Walker doesn’t force that throw

Somebody didnt watch the A&M game
Even CBK said that JD5s fumble was the end of the game. "Momentum killer. Never recovered"
Hes never said anything that bad about Walker or Nuss

Walker is the future at LSU, and he needs to start next year.

Brett Farve says hi
Glad you brought this up. Favre threw picks. Lots of them. But when he did reel it in, he was special. It’s not like you can’t win games if a guy takes chances.
Most would say Favre and Drew Brees played the position in a totally different way. Favre was a gunslinger. Brees was accurate and took less chances
Who had a higher win % as a starting QB? Favre.
Who went to more Super Bowls? Favre
Who went to more Conference Championship games? Favre
Who won more playoff games? Favre.

Brees threw the ball deep more than Favre. He was just better in every aspect. That’s a ridiculous comparison.

Favre averaged 11.7 yards per completion while Brees averaged 11.4. Most people who say Brees was better. Yet Favre still won more.

Brees’ 7.5 yards per attempt in 2020 was still higher than all but 6 of Favre’s seasons for his career and 7.9 in 2019 was higher than any Favre season.

Yards per completion isn’t a good stat and wins aren’t a QB stat. :

He should take out a restraining order on you if he knows what’s good for him.

What is the history of Walker

but listen to the coaches.
They haven’t said shite about Walker because he hasn’t played and they aren’t burning his redshirt just to talk about him

You haven't followed LSU football consistently through the years. Look at Jamie Howard back in 1992. He was an interception machine that year, and remained so (infamously) through 1994. By his senior year he settled down and made accurate passes and led LSU to a winning record and a key upset of Auburn.
Look at Jarrett Lee's progress from 2008 to 2011. Coach Miles stuck with him at starter and he panned out impressively in 2011.
