Pretty much every game Nuss has played in he’s lit the defense up, but he’s also thrown INTs.

This is not sustainable and BK knows it. If Nuss is going to compete for QB1 moving forward, he’d better not throw any INTs in the bowl game.

JD5 and Walker don’t have this problem. It’s about football security.

Why? Are you gonna pull his scholarship if he does?

How do you know this as fact?

How can you speak on Walker, who has yet to take a snap?

Because the coaches havent said Walker is careless with the football like they have about Nuss.

Look, I love them both, but listen to the coaches.

Can’t throw an interception if you don’t throw the ball.

What if that 1 INT is a pick six in a game where the opponents’ offense also scored 4 TDs and we lose because of it? Do you know football?

He’ll likely throw a lot more than 1 INT per game

His turnover worthy play % was 10%, 5th highest in the SEC, behind TJ Finley, Connor Weigman and the 2 Vandy QBs. That’s bad.

Jayden was by far the best in the league at only 2.96. 1 or both need to settle in the 4.5-5% range.

Almost a year ago these same clowns were ready to run him out of town. Said he was a loser for not playing in the bowl game & that he would never take another snap again in a Tiger uniform.

What if he throws more TDs?

Give me a QB who throws multiple TDs with INTs over one who throws one or none.

Never been anti-Nuss, but Howard is and always be my preference. Haven't been this excited about a QB since Burrow and Perrilloux.

DeShaun Watson threw around 40 TDs and close to 20 INTs. I would happily take that kind of QB play.

I rather a QB that can overcome turnovers with confidence than a guy too slow to make a decision that often results in several punts. Especially in the first half. At some point all those punts are turnovers. And some INTs are punts.

That’s a great question. Let me ask one of you. Have you seen how a pick six (or just an INT) can affect the momentum of a game?

This stuff doesn’t usually happen in a vacuum. A pick six can ignite the opposing offense. It can also ignite the opposing defense, resulting in sacks and more picks.

what if it’s in the opponents territory and has the same effect as a punt? Which all but one of Nuss’s interceptions were. We can play what ifs all day long.

But we know for a fact JD’s strip sack for a TD came at the absolute worst time of a tied 17-17 game. But all anybody wants to talk about is how he protects the ball, and bitch about Nuss’s INTs

True. If it’s 3rd down and you throw a pick in the EZ, I see that as a punt and not a bad pick. But that’s not the only INTs we’ve seen from Nuss.

He might. I hope he does. But we don’t know that and the carelessness is still concerning. I want to see him light up a defense without a pick. Just one. He hasn’t yet.
