see this is when I know that some of you don't know a thing about football. He didn't collapse. A&M made adjustments to blitz right up the middle at halftime, and our 3 interior guys, and especially our center, could not handle it. It was a jail break immediately on every play, and our coordinator did nothing to try and call plays to mitigate that blitz. After that game, teams had a blueprint. Our center was a HUGE liability....and we still had a terrible run blocking Oline.....so glad Davis is gone.

Yeah that was the blue print because Nuss was too damn scared to run. The kid would rather chuck 3 interceptions than take the hits.

here is one of those classless pos right here. Dude was hurt last year and had a horriffic OL, OL Coach, OC. Seriously, this is uncalled for. You are one of the ones that is melting. You people are pathetic. You all say he is terrible....and yet he made the KC team while being a 7th round draft. Word on the street is that he is qb 2 as well.

Nuss reminds me a little of Mettenberger. You never know when you’ll get a chance.
Mett got a real look but didn’t seem ready for it in the NFL. I think he was out of the league after a year or two from starting a few games.
Having a mostly backup career with some good games when called upon (Flynn) seems like a great career. Just be ready.

fricking this. Nuss got dogged on all year long when it was reported that he was hurt preseason, was reported he was hurt during the season, and was still reported after that he was indeed hurt. Nuss was frustrating to watch, and I’m not trying to minimize the fact that lots of guys play hurt - but we all saw him be a better QB the season before. Kelly decided to roll the dice, jeopardizing the young man’s career and trivializing countless others’...because he thought he earned his contact the day he signed it. Him and the 5-10 other guys that signed those ridiculous guaranteed contracts undermined football and it shows.
The crux of the hat has made high level sports so popular boils down to pride. Having too much pride to lose without shouldering the blame is admirable. Brian Kelly’s time at LSU is anything but admirable

There are like 14 good nfl QBs in the world, most of the other ones are pretty bad.
Zach Wilson made the Saints roster.
An undrafted rookie from Kansas made Tampa’s roster
Jack Strand made the falcons (who!)
Behren Morton made the patriots (who!!)
Five NFL teams are keeping 4 QBs. The chiefs keeping a 3rd when Mahomes is hurt isn’t all that noteworthy
