Its one thing to have kids not go to your school, its an entire other one to have them go to your biggest life long rival.

When they let him run then maybe so. If he had Burrows running mentality the defense would have to account for that and you are able to get some big plays and doesn’t allow the defense to be one dimensional. Only concerned with the RB.

Gotta love a thread started by a Nuss hating troll that haters used as an excuse to hate on Nuss despite clearly knowing it was a troll. But of course some here deny that these haters exist.

Mett? The guy who gave away the Ole Miss game against a defense that was missing five starters and was shitty to begin with? The guy who, given the ball with enough time on the clock, couldn’t produce a game winning drive against georgia in a shootout? Mett was a talented QB, but his NFL career is a good encapsulation of his college value. Nuss is far better and will have a better NFL career.

He is not there yet at the best, but when he comes back next year, I guarantee he will be in the top 5 odds to win it. Hell, he was 7th going into the year this year. He may legit throw for 40 Td's and 4,000 yards, but I hope our running game gets more balanced where he doesn't have to.

most of those are trolls, but some actually dislike Nuss for whatever reasons and will never like him and that is fine.....He has a chance now to really build up some experience and more confidence at home over the next 2 games. Nice to know that we are home the next 3 games in a row.

Before the South Carolina game maybe top 3. However he showed that his lack of mobility and pocket awareness is going to cost us big against teams that like to pressure. His first reaction with pressure is to run backwards. Give him a bunch of Drew Brees film to study. Please!

And Nuss will be in the NFL long after Milroe is. Even Alabama fans don't like Milroe...although he is a good runner, he is not a good passer against good teams.

LOL in his 4th game he made a few mistakes against a very good defensive front, which in three games, he has played 2 of them, unlike some other teams. Not to mention he was in a very hostile environment on his first true road game start.
He did come back at the end and lead us down the field with an NFL throw to Lacy. If you didn't catch it, it was a thing of beauty.
It is unreal the hate on Nuss. He is performing much better through the first 3 games than Burrow did in 2018...MUCH better. Burrow was starting his first games as well. He is performing equal to JD in his first 3 games of 2018, and JD had about 30 starts under his belt before then.
Nuss will get better and better with experience and has the mobility to run. We don't know if they are holding him back because they don't seem very comfortable with the 2 back-ups...but we have seen him rolling out and scrambling out of trouble the last few years, as well as pull it down. Give the guy a little time to adjust...but I get it from some of you....
