I dont necessarily disagree but let’s be honest Brennan would have disintegrated behind that shoddy Oline last year. Maybe Nuss takes his lumps and balls this year but I don’t see 10 wins with Nuss last year.

What did 10 wins get us but a false #5 ranking? I’d taken a year of development with Nuss and try and build something special over winning the cheese bowl against a team that mailed it in for the year

Travis threw a terrible interception and then should have been a second one that was dropped. You take Travis’ performance over Daniels every day of the week. Who cares if Nuss throws a stupid pick or two if he’s throws for 4-5 TDs and 400+ yards and opens up the running game more.

Well JD threw a pick (I know it was more on Nabers but the throw was late) and should be charged with another turnover for the botched read on 4th and 1.

No what’s going to happen is the JD fan boys will be all over the int like white on rice - “seeeeee!!!!!!”
He will throw a couple of int’s but will also throw td’s, sustain other drives which opens the run and leads to either td’s or field goals. But the pro- JD fans will want to harp on the int’s.

This is all plainly stupid in so many ways it destroys your credibility.
I think Nuss is gonna fly, but also not in denial about the past.

How is this stupid, it’s all facts we didn’t need Jayden Daniels he needed us to prop up his draft status and that’s why he’s here. The other 2 guys we had were in state highly rated guys with real love for LSU and Brennan who wasn’t gonna play as it turns out anyway since he retired.

LSU's timeline seems accelerated due in part to Daniels' play last year & forecast this year.
Trying to apply those same expectations to QBs like Nuss, Myles Brennan and Walker Coward is completely nutty
you either want the red pill or blue pill, but you have to pick one. They dont lead down the same path
