Nobody is more well liked at LSU than the back up QB.

Brennan was in the portal when Kelly arrived. He talked him out of it and also brought in Daniels. Neither of them had a history with Kelly and the competition was open. Brennan got beat out by Daniels and Nuss.
LSU has had more success with QB’s you call an outsider than the ones that are homegrown.
