what’s funny to me, is people here on the almighty internet who have seen a tiny smidgen of what Kelly and the staff have seen from these two guys, just throw out cliche after cliche after cliche of regurgitated garbage, and think they’re more qualified than the coaches to make this decision. It’s fricking insanity. The amount of ego that shite takes is just mind blowing to me.

The excuses that get made for Nuss yet Jayden gets blamed for dropped passes by WR’s. This board is amazing. I have no issues with Nuss becoming the starter as Jayden has many flaws but the inconsistency in which you guys judge these two QB’s is something.

Tell me you don’t frequent this board without telling me

bullshite. He's stubborn like Miles was. JD is his guy come hell or high water. He inherited Nuss.

Well, ol' Joe did throw a pick-six that cost us the game in the Swamp in '18. If O had a benched him then we wouldn't be in this predicament.

They really are the only ones who have apples to apples comparisons of the two QB’s. There is really no telling how nuss would have looked. Fla st. Was dominating the line of scrimmage, we had no run game. With either QB, that game was a Fla st. Win. Hopefully maason smith can help make the QB less comfortable, because with time, SEC WR’s and QB’s are going to eat our defensive backfield up.

Nuss has a lot in common with Burrow. From having a coach who can’t see his talent, confidence in himself and being raised by a college/NFL coach.

Honestly if I was Nuss I would do like Burrow and transfer to a team that will do like O and give him the keys. He could use his junior and senior season to improve his draft stock. I wouldn’t sit around and ride the bench behind a QB who sucks then jump in next year and win games for a guy who put me on the back burner for a QB who sucks and has proven over and over he sucks.

Joe Burrow never really got a chance at OSU. Nuss has had way more of a chance here. I still think he has a chance to start this year.

but how many picks did Joe throw at Ohio State

Absolutely, the 3 man rush concept was hopefully a short lived experiment with such a suspect backfield and no blitzing HP. Maason Smith will be nice to see.

Go look at JDs stats at ASU and get back to me. He had 10 TDs and 10 INTs his last season at fricking ASU in the PAC 12. Bo Nix dominated the PAC 12 last year and will do the same this year.

That’s fine but it doesn’t mean he’s right. BK thought that playing Perkins inside, playing Sage Ryan at corner against 6’7 & 6’4 receivers, and not letting Chris Hilton or Aaron Anderson touch the ball also gave us the best chance to win.

Great take on Nuss
Burrow from 2018 to 2019 you could see a major improvement in his first game in the 2019 season
Daniels did not show even the slightest Sunday night
I thank Daniels for a surprisingly great year 2022 but it is time to move on with someone that can push us to greater heights THIS YEAR and if it doesn’t work we will be in better position going into next year

He hasn’t had a chance to start a game yet. Using relief numbers for a QB as an absolute determiner is beyond stupid. Are you beyond stupid?

I mean I get what you are saying, but in that case you’re also saying that no fan can ever say that something should change just because they haven’t been at all the practices. Like if the coaches trot Harold Perkins back out the as an inside linebacker again and he once again is basically rendered useless, are you going to say that the fans can’t call it a dumb move because we aren’t at practice everyday?

Comparing the health of tOSU program while Joe was there to Garrett's time here in '21 and '22 is irresponsible.

FTR1: Joe was given a fair chance to win the QB job there before he transferred out. Urban liked Haskins (no slouch BTW) because of his arm strength and named him starter over Joe. (Wonder if CBK prefers JD over Nuss because of his foot speed.)

FTR2: Joe didn't throw any ints at tOSU. Obviously he regressed here in '18 and should've been benched after the pick-6 in Gainesville.

One thing you have to remember when dealing with the Daniels fluffers is they’re not actually defending him, they’re defending their own predictions and opinions. This is not about what’s best for LSU or even Daniels really, it’s about their fragile little egos.

“has a career QB rating of 70.6”

^^^
False….his career passer rating is 132.6. Last year it was 152.0 which was higher than Daniels who currently sits at 12th in the SEC in passer rating and 13th in QBR.
