He comes from money. I don't think he waited all these years to be the "guy" to walk over money.

I know he isn’t necessarily all money motivated, but that can change quickly when you know you can be a first or second day draft pick.

One of the sports shows said that Nuss is the 3rd lowest starting SEC QB in terms of NIL so I'm sure he will be offered an enhanced deal, but doubt he's interested in playing money games with LSU. If he stays it will be to develop and increase his draft stock.

He finished the regular season on a high note so hopefully it's signs of him starting to figure it out. The last 3 games he had 5 TDs vs 0 INTs. Last 2 games completed 76 and 71% of his passes and averaged 300ypg.

Moscona was interviewing Sean Salisbury and he said Nuss is a 4-5th round guy. Comp would be Spencer Rattler. He would benefit from coming back to improve his draft stock.

Lester hates Nuss and thinks he was "shite" this SEC season. So probably not the best person to get any opinion out of. Dude has it completely against the guy for some weird reason.

Nuss was the highest graded player on offense this year and it wasnt even close

How about a baseball player getting $750 Million over 15 years.

Time to walk away from the greed in college and professional sports.

They will offer Nuss in the neighborhood of $750K-$1 million which is a very fair offer on both sides. Remember, Nuss’s family isn’t hurting for money like some other guy’s families might be so he could opt to take the money and come back to develop and strengthen his draft stock so next year he’s a 1st round no doubt pick. I think the actually number cones in around $900K.

If he is outside the top 2 rds he has much less leverage. My bet is that he still is considered a top 5 QB and will be overvalued.

The dollars for the 64th pick is still over $6 mil for 4 years.

I think he deserves to be compensated appropriately either way

There's nobody in the portal right now better than Nuss. You'd be a fool to not take an opportunity to bring Nuss back. He's not far away from being a great QB if he can reduce or fix some of his tendencies.

Fun fact that these morons seem to ignore is that if Nuss entered the portal, he would be the most highly sought after QB in the portal. Someone would give him 2mil to transfer in.

Life of the Spirit not
Life in the Flesh

And you are correct. Too many people are all about $ and greed.

Who said not to bring him back?

Continuity matters, but there are options in the portal every year that vault teams to another level. This isn’t an insult or rocket science.
