Our 'CEO' coach is such a fricking loser. He apparently has no connections, and anyone he 'knows' doesn't want to work for him. It's impossible for him to live up to his own hype of "we gon' hire da bes' cawdnaters in da cawntry".

Shocker. I’m telling you when the final book is written, E will be seen as one of the biggest factors for the 2019 championship.

I'm not sure sure if you're serious, but honestly the offense looked better last season with E calling plays then it does now under Peetz. That's not saying I want E as OC again, but he worked very well with Brady and clearly was able to pick up some of his concepts.

Reliable poster on 247 last night said Brady hates coach O.

Not at all shocking. Shrimp Boat is a mental midget who doesn't like to be outshined. It's why he threw shade at Aranda after hiring Pelini. I work with a guy who is very similar. He wants all of the credit and none of the blame.

I really don’t think Brady would intentionally frick us over like that. He’s where he is because of LSU.

This. Plus, do we know what the "recommendation" was? All I've heard is that he was "recommended". I seriously doubt Brady said "Peetz would make an excellent OC", simply because Peetz has not been an OC. How could that recommendation be made?

Maybe O didn't ask the right questions in eliciting a recommendation.

That’s how I see it, too lazy to do his homework and not knowledgeable enough to know for himself who he should hire to fit the player’s abilities and who is a great strategist that thoroughly knows the X’s and O’s.

If Peetz was so great and had so much to offer, wouldn't Brady or Ruhle have been more eager to keep him on Panthers staff?
No. In general coaches do not try to hold back their subordinates from moving up. Sean Payton is just a dick.

I get the sene that most people who have worked under Ed dislike him when the move on.

I wouldn't say dislike, more like, no respect.

The guy is an idiot.

Brady (one year) was ready to move on after the Natty.

If you had a chance to move on from passing game coordinator at a state college to OC of an NFL team (with a hefty raise) wouldn't you?

I mean look at how many moved on from Nick Saban when they had their chance to move up. Seen any loyalty there?

Point well taken, it was how he did it. No respect for 0.

You don't think there's any respect for Saban? You don't have to kiss his ring on the way out but, at least say by.

You do realize that not all that goes on behind closed doors makes it into the light of day. Brady might have tried hard to keep them but knew he couldn't. Brady might not have been the decision maker involved in their departure. Brady might have thought Peetz would have been a good coordinator. Sometimes you don't know until you throw someone out there but you have to throw them out there to find out. Being a great QB coach does not mean you can evaluate how good of a coach someone will be. All this is speculation and you filling in a story the way you want to hear it.

Because of new QB, not in spite of Peetz

But that's my point. Respect isn't keeping anyone from bettering themselves.

If He didn’t like Peetz it’s not like NFL position coaches have great job security. He doesn’t have to pawn him off on O. Payton wants Nielsen around in case Allen gets a HC job.

Brady has no reason to try and frick over O.

Don’t get me wrong, O needed to just find a great OC instead of asking Brady who could run his old offense . But I dont Think Brady fricked O over intentionally

Pelini was Woodwards choice. So why would O choose different?

I get this. My point is "how you conduct yourself earns a good bye while the door knob hits you in the arse". Having "knowledge of the game" earns respect. 0 doesn't get that.

You think 0 understood the complexity of Brady's play calling?

I hope we're barking up the same tree here.

Outside of Joe Brady, name one truly awesome hire Ed has made in his entire coaching career?

On paper hiring some 30 year old kid with no coaching experience to be your passing game coordinator and sit in the box with a seasoned veteran OC is insane. Offensive savants are not just sitting around as nfl special assistants. And Ed’s tried to replicate that with disastrous results.

No one wanted to come to a team coming off the greatest season in college football history. And no one wanted to come here one year removed from the greatest season in college football history.

That should tell you all you need to know.

I think Ree does a better job at trolling than you do. It's hard to explain. You're both brash, but Ree has some style, while you do not.

Nothing wrong with spread, but we have become a panzy finess team! Coach O refuses to ever lineup under center, using a fullback just 6-7 plays per game, or use heavy packages once or twice per drive.

And truth be told, was E that Brady and urged O to hire him.
