This might explain LSU's scorched Earth approach to Will Wade. He's the scapegoat for bigger problems.

@danfraz
Prayers sent to you and your family, you seem to be a strong minded person and an extreme realist.
This is far more important than anything LSU related and i wish you the best. Stay strong bud!

It's an 11 page thread with false information and you want the one guy that knows what going on to stop posting?

Prove you know what's going on then. Let's get some details.

If this OLOL thing has any illicit connection to LSU athletics it’s MUCH bigger than Will Wade. If Wades thing is even connected at all.
Very possible we have two separate impermissible benefits programs running independent of each other.
Also possible we have none, or no proof of either. But regardless, I don’t think they’ll be able to blame Wade for OLOL. Again, if OLOL even is anything

You have my prayers, dan.
Was sorta hoping your post content was the result of brain metastasis...but your grammar and punctuation squashed that idea.
Oh well...join me, Rantards:

You have said nothing to make anyone think that.
Keep posting btw. I would like to know what you are refuting.

There is no connection. What kind of fricking details do you think I can provide?
Are you cheating on your wife? No? Can you provide details?
There are no details to prove a negative.

You're really pompous and confident for a guy who can provide no details...

Is this bigger than the Wade stuff?

Will Wade is small potatoes compared to the OLOL thing for LSU.

In what way?

I haven't had a chance to read this entire thread, just stopping to mention that, if basketball has to take a fall on the sword, I'm sure it will.
But, there is no way that the cash cow to the tune of over 100 million dollars is going to be touched in this. They will find a way, believe me.
The football program does too much for all things LSU and its system. Unless the federal government wants to step up and start paying for these things, the people who control those monies are not going to meddle in these affairs.

Explain how you know this? Are you part of the administration? Are you personally involved in the OLODL investigation? Do you have ties to the athletic department?

Can someone help me understand what the hell the "OLOL thing" is? I don't need the acronym explained, but I don't know a damn thing about the director/scandal/possible LSU connection.
Apologies if this has been addressed a dozen times already, but sorting through 11+ pages looking for a post by someone who may what the frick they're talking about is more difficult than you might expect.

Speculation is that money being donated to the foundation was being funneled to student athletes. So basically boosters were donating money to the "foundation," receiving tax breaks because of it, and then it was going to student athletes.
If I'm wrong with my summary, someone please feel free to correct!

Well that would be the same thing here
Yes and no. Both are "Charities" but in the case of the celebs, it was a fake charity used to funnel money so the celebs could take a tax deduction, The Our Lady of the Lake Foundation is a bonafide charity whose purpose is to raise funds for the hospital...and the hospital is way too real.

Just to be fair, the speculation is coming almost entirely from 4-5 posters on this site, who may or not be correct.
And it’s now been given legs by a couple local radio guys who’ve mentioned “rumblings it could be bad for LSU.” There’s a very good chance those local media guys read tigerdroppings and the rumblings are those same 4-5 posters.
Which they might be right and this thing is a Watergate type of operation just waiting to blow. But there’s virtually nothing to corroborate it at this point
