I'm dead serious. Him being relieved to get his head straight is understandable but completely pulled? JJ definitely should not have taken over the job based on what we see on the surface.

he was a WR, and at least he got his receiver to the end zone (unlike JJ, who underthrew it more)

yes

it's a lot more fair than saying "well bama's whole season means shite b/c they lose at home in an OT game, while beating the living shite out of the same team 2 months later"

bama proved they were the better team. i mean you can show it by saying they were never dominated in any game

Alright I know you've been one of the biggest JL supporters on here and are pissed that his PT disappeared at then end of the season. I can't really explain that, and really would have liked to see him play against Georgia and Bama on Monday (And I'm one of the biggest defenders of JJ on here).

But you cannot possibly argue that JJ shouldn't have played in that game. JL played like shite. It was by far his worst game of the year. And when Les gave JL another chance, he came back in and threw another costly interception. Playing JJ was the right choice then. He gave us the best chance to win simply because he didn't turn the ball over. He looked much more comfortable and confident than JL and Miles made the right decision to play him in that game.

We have a better team, Miles just shite the bed.

Our resume and earlier victory proves it.

See my explanation above

ETA, I am simply referring to the PT on Nov 5, not the rest of the season.

Lee threw two inexcusable interceptions in the Nov. 5th game.

He was a game manager in the 8 prior games that was not winning games for us.

He isn't even that great of a QB.

I don't care who starts for LSU as long as we are winning, but it isn't like we were sitting Drew Brees on the sidelines. Lee is not considerably better than JJ and JJ has mobility. Should Lee have been inserted into the NC? yes Should the Tiger Fan Base continue to kiss his arse? No

LSU would have absolutely played on the 9th if they had lost to Bama. You're an idiot if you think otherwise.

Anyone who believes there wasn't some underlying factors in the decision to let JJ remain the starting QB no matter what obviously needs a reality check. There is no logical explanation for JL not receiving any playing time in the last three games.

I didn't say JJ necessarily looked good, just that he was much better than JL on that day.

Now JJ on Monday looked just like JL on Nov 5.

Well, Mett should have been the backup, but given the Mett wasn't, then no, I'm not arguing that JJ should have never came in the game. But I definitely don't think he should have come in after the first INT ... especially for an hour.

JL played like shite. It was by far his worst game of the year.

And this is a load of horseshite. His first 6 passes, he was doing fine. He had 2 incompletions to RR where he thought RR was cutting one way, and RR cut to another route. They were just getting their timing down.

Then he picks up a bounce snap on 3rd and long and makes one bad throw that loses LSU about 20 or 30 yards in field position. BFD.

The LSU offense was doing fine feeling out Bama's D for the first quarter. We would have scored a couple of TDs eventually.

Lee should have never been put in the game for the 2nd INT. You don't take out your 8-0 starter after one INT, put him on the sidelines for over an hour, and then expect him to throw a deep pass on his first play back in the game. That's just more craziness from Miles.

Shittiest coach out there.

This is more of the over-the-top language that is present in the OP's posts. It is indicative of one who has had enough and gone off the rails. It comes off as one who is mad as hell and not gonna take it anymore.

I don't think anyone is claiming Miles is the shittiest coach out there. What we are claiming is that he has shown himself to be highly capable of committing a colossal blunder that has cost LSU a game more than a few times. He has exhibited stubbornness and poor coaching judgment more than once and this was on full exhibition in last week's game where he was thoroughly outcoached by Saban.

I expect Miles to continue to be the coach here. I also expect us to continue to win a lot of games. But there is no doubt that his decisions, particularly regarding the QBs, cost us a championship this year. A lot of us saw this one coming and were accused of being negatigers. I get no joy now in saying we told you so.

We had been running a 2 QB system since JJ got back. Why wouldn't we run it then?

And its plays like this that he shouldn't have been playing in that game. He makes bad throws under pressure. And Bama could put pressure on us like no other team we had played all year.

It was bullshite to make JJ the team's starter after 1 bad pass by Lee. It was clear that JL did not have Miles's support as a starter, which meant that everything in the games leading up to Bama was just for show. In other words, it was obvious that Miles was just starting JL because of fan pressure and not because he really wanted to--he was looking for an excuse to bench him. He wanted to start JJ all along, but didn't have the guts to do it earlier (for fear of public condemnation), nor did he have the guts to back JL and give him full attention at practice for the biggest game of the year.

His actions for BOTH Bama games was inexcusable. The offensive results were shitty both times. No TDs.

This is close to my "top 10 stupidist" posts of the year.

What... we scored no TDs against the overall #1 defense in the country... they had 9 TDs scored on them ALL year, in 13 games.

They scored 1 late - after the Defense was worn out TD on our defense.

So you praise their coaching and bemoan ours? Makes no sense dude.

Facts -- Bama had a great defense and shut down our offense.

Bama's QB and WRs had excellent games in the BCSNCG... they played far better than they had all year.

And still... they scored just 1 late TD in 8 quarters of play and and OT period.

Whatever dude --- you crack me up.

JJ has never,I mean never in his LSU career put together a run the likes of which JL did the first 8 games of this season.

Look don't get me wrong. I am not defending Miles for the lack of Lee's playing time at the end of the season. I'm just saying we wouldn't have won the first Bama game without Jefferson.
